Well if you listen to say her recent review of I think it was in kiki's delivery service she talks a bit about being brought up. Stuff like not being able to watch things about witches on tv for example. He can purchase tobacco, alcohol, and firearms; he can probably operate a motor vehicle; he can participate in the electoral process; he can be charged as an adult in criminal proceedings. He is supposed to be responsible for his own actions. I will stand on Spoony side because I've been quite the fan of his work. Not sure how people seeing him getting more mentally unstable and that his works gotten worse. I think he's gotten in better mood. His work has also gotten better or well it has it's up and downs. I still enjoy most things he pushes out. Except Reb/Red Brown movies. I didn't like the movies.
People can flip out, it's human nature and it happens to everyone at some point. Also those who say "He treats his fans badly" it's kinda fun because this Total Biscuit guy http://www.youtube.com/user/TotalHalibut more often than not will insult people on his twitter account and youtube posters. His reason? He got far more that do not visit both of those things.

Its been pretty well established that Spoony had been getting complaints sent in from fans for some time before the incident, and that Lupa herself never complained to Holly, and from what I can tell the part about spoony being drunk is pure speculation.

He seems capable of understanding that his actions have consequences and that he is hurting the people who want to support him, and he doesn't seem to care because he gets more pleasure out of raging than out of reconciliation. God knows I get that--anger is a sweetly addictive drug, and the main reason I take such pleasure in Mr. Antwiler's reviews, to say nothing of more local talent like Mr. Croshaw--but at the end of the day, he is the only person capable of making his own decisions. Yay, rationality. I do think he is a bit less to blame for the situation than Alison. After all, Alison was stoking the fires when she was well aware of his mental state. However, Noah is responsible for his outbursts. Would he have made them without Alison's posts? Likely not, which is why I hold her to blame more than him. I have clinical depression too and I did things I regretted when I was at my lowest. But I did them and I take responsibility for them.

Everyone can claim he or she has a mental disease, the problem here is that it can go from mild to absolutely crippling, from what i have read from you, you sound more on the rational spectrum, but as with spoony, it showed that he isnt, at all. I can tell that Lupa is mentaly stable because she has not shown any signs of being unstable, even when she slapped spoony in the face with that months old twitter she sounded rational, not to mention her huge ass blog post. Also her life seems to be alot more stable just from a very shallow overlook then what spoonys history shows.
The fact remains that she actively sought conflict with a mental unstable person. You know theres a reason why mental sicknesses are taken into account infront of a court. Its because people with mental issues cant be held "fully" accountable.
Also theres a GIGANTIC difference between telling someone to be more professional and mature in his/her job and telling someone to go to a psychatrist.
The first is public and the second is private. I have no right to tell noah to get medical help but I sure as hell can tell someone publically gloating over a coworker to be more professional and mature.
Also just as you quoted... i think that spoony should have gone offline some time ago for his own good, hes not completly blameless but in this particular conflict Lupa was the agressor not Spoony.
This isnt a kindergarten fight, theres money involved. CA should have put spoony on hold a long time ago since everyone and their mother saw it comming, tell him to take time off and return when hes stable again but they kept him around. As a business sometimes you have to make decisions like that and not let it dredge till its to late.
I'm not sure what you mean by "punished," here, so it's possible I'm responding to something you don't actually mean, and if so, I apologize preemptively. That said, though, I think it's wrong to look at Mr. Antwiler's termination as punishment. He was causing negative press for his employer and harming their revenue, not to mention only putting out one review for every four to eight of his contemporaries, so the decision to terminate his employment ought to be viewed as an attempt to preserve the company, not to punish him.thebobmaster said:

When you get that many big egos working together all with the intent of becoming famous crap like this will inevitably happen. Spoony may indeed have some sort of mental problems but his bigger one is having a fan base that reassure him that can never do anything wrong and that is a shiny godchild among the unwashed masses of the internet.
