Two things about the Third-Person 1v1 games:
Firstly how people join and then instantly leave as soon as they join (obviously before the match can start) it makes no fucking sense to me at all. Someone will join, then leave, join again assumedly in the hope of finding someone different to play, then leave again.. rinse and repeat 10 fudging times before they give up because nobody else is trying to start a game up. Whats wrong with me? Do I give off a bad online odor? It's not like I have a newbie level or something. Perhaps it's because my name isn't anything like OMGAwsum|L33tdude666 and they don't think I have the nerdy street-cred necessary to play against.
Secondly: As for the people who actually stay until the timer finishes and begin a game with me, I'll say something polite like "GL, HF
" and they will say one word: "headshots?"
To which I'll reply: "no thankyou" or "I think I'll pass" or "fuck you" >_> then they will quit.
Can't people play the game properly instead of just cheating to level up? 1v1 Third Person is actually VERY fun and much more tactical and satisfying to play than any of the other modes in my opinion.. You get to sneak around and peak around corners and have to listen carefully for footsteps. But most people just play it for the sake of finding someone else who wants to grind for weapon upgrades.
On that note, if any mature people with the PC version want to play some MW2 with someone who isn't a dickhead, feel free to add me as a friend, my Steam account link is in my escapist profile.
