THESE are the morons that give religion a bad fucking name.
i'll second that, i'm not religous but i know it's these people that give it a bad name, you don't see them jumping at every publication of a book that says one religon isn't the almighty and true one, ffs people , its a game its not meant to be taken that seriously, f**ked up crazy catholic
Ok, if they were to mention the fact that there is a Metallica version or, songs by Black Sabbath, Lamb of God, Ozzy Osbourn, Megadeth or, any of the other metal bands who have appeared on a Guitar Hero game EVER than I would think 'alright: it's an old argument but at least they've had time to refine the whole, 'rock&roll=satanism' thing' but, no xD This person also clearly was unable to beat Guitar Hero Three where ...
you play Devil Went Down to Georgia with Lou in order to send him back to Hell and save your self and humanity
As for Dragon Age Origin, their facts are a bit screwy ...
while one CAN have sex with Morrigan, it isn't a requirement if one wishes to use Blood Magic. As for 'God Going Mad' The Maker doesn't go mad. The ancient order of Warlocks (can't remember who exactly) going into the fade to conquer heaven is more reminiscent of the Adam and Eve story in that humans dared to go somewhere/ do something God didn't allow ... God then did the bad thing what done happened. The church also forgot the biggest thing which I am surprised they failed to jump on: GAY. ELF. LOVE. Or Lesbian if that floats your boat
I'm surprised Mass Effect wasn't cited. Williams is the only character from the first one hwo admits to being Christian but that statement of hers basically set up that she is one of the few left at all.
I'll admit that Christianity is an easy and safe target for games and movies in order to gain some shock value. I mean, make a shocking game or movie about Islamic literature and you'll have one hell of a shit storm.
But Guitar Hero sending you to hell? For Christ's sake lady.

Yep. Same here. I'm disappointed with the Human Race for having people like this... I'm not against religion or anything, but I think this is getting toward borderline silly.
I don´t get why they are afraid of the satanic-themed games. Anyone remember Bible Games? No one heard the satanistic society complain about how it was promoting cristianity to the easily affected children.
And Assassin's Creed was made a team of various religious faiths and beliefs. As the disclaimer says. And the first few are JRPGs, and I THINK, don't take this as fact, are related to the Shin Megami Tensei series.
I'm surprised that Grandia 2 didn't make the list. Just in case you missed this wonderful game, I'll let out the punchline. Big holy religion where everyone prays to a god of light who battled and defeated a god of darkness and keeps everyone safe from evil. Turns out, the fight didn't go along the lines that the good book says it did, instead the god of light was killed, and the god of darkness has been using the church to revive himself...
You know, I was thinking the same thing about two Nippon Ichi games, those being Disgaea (The major protagonist is the son of the recently deceased Overlord of the Netherworld) and Soul Nomad and the World Eaters (Two words: Demon Path...)
