Fable 2.

Seriously. This guy kills your sister and has made your life a living Hell and in the end you just shoot him in the face. No epic boss battle. Just shoot. And if you don't do it, one of your sidekicks will!

Can't help but repeat that the Joker was the easiest and worst boss fight I've ever had in a game. I think the buildup to it was what made it so disappointing. I was hoping for something like Knightfall where the events preceeding it had taken it's toll on you, but no, they had to go the way they did.

The final boss in Metroid Fusion, it was just sooo easy I would explain but I'm HTML illiterate and I can't do that spoiler thing.

In Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, Doctor Doom was one of the easier fights. I mean, I had more trouble with Piabok and Super Skrull.

Someone actually thought this was challenging?!

ALTHOUGH I love the bosses in Metroid 3 so far, but haven't got to the final (I'm just about to get there) - I really hope Dark Samus isn't a disappointment.
IT FUCKING IS
Eh? I thought it was really fun, and suitably epic.

Maybe my Hypermode playthrough is what is still fresh in my mind.

I think the problem is no one seems to put any effort into their final bosses anymore.

Everyone has already mentioned all my games (Gears of War 2, Bioshock, Mass Effect 1...ect.) That I can think of.

Problem is, they spend all this time throwing all these things at you that apparently this last guy was in charge of, and it turns out he's a damned wuss, or has next to no tactic to take you out themselves.

I don't think all boss fights should go. Someone just needs to realize that when they are a Final Boss, and the source of all your problems, they should be damned tough and smart. Not a final boss just cause that is how you want to end it.

if you want to make a spoiler tag basically just do [*spoiler] before what you want to write in it, then [*/spoiler] after what you want to write, or if you want to give it a title, [*spoiler="-insert text here-"] (just remove all the * I put in the tags)
See, simple! =D

And by the final boss in Metroid Fusion, do you mean "her" or "it"?

The Saboteur. You don't even have to shoot him, he'll fall to his death anyway

Worst. Boss. Ever.

Thanks for that tip Durxom.
It was just boring, both of the, fighting SA-X and the omega metroid. All of the other bosses had some trick or challenge to defeating them but with SA-X you just shot it and with the omega metroid you just shot it in the stomach repeatedly, it didn't have any challenge all it did was walk towards you.

Genesis in FF7 Crisis Core.
I spent so much time preparing, killing weaker things to get free XP, trying to level, etc...used Phoenix Down before the fight, didn't even need it.

Then I saved before the final boss and beat him a few more times (in four hits total, I believe) just to watch the amazing ending.

FABLE 2 !!!
'nuff said

although one could argue that the great shard thing towards the end was sposed to be the boss fight, becase its the last time you fight til the end of the main quest, but its easier than any troll (and by the end of the main quest youve killed at least 3)

THANK YOU. I was wondering if someone would mention that. I waited cuz I thought my first bullet would spark his power. So I stood there for about a minute warming up, then pow, he falls. I then thought he would fly back up and start the fight....nope.

Gears of War 2. All that epic battling and stuff, then...

"Hey, here's a Hammer of Dawn, point it at that big thing and hold the trigger down for the next minute! Good job!"

... sigh...

Gears 2 was such a pushover compared to Raam. Raam was one of the first bosses in a long time which I had to sit there and think about how the hell I was going to beat him.

I was expecting a huge epick boss fight and a massive battlefield. Instead I got a huge [censored] that just sat still and took a beating. It couldn't even hit me because of a single block of stone. Distroyer my arse, they could have sent a spitter skag and won the day.

The only final boss that I Have been challenged by recently (that I can think of) Is in Dragon Age origins. Ithink it's become an intrinsic factor of games atm because developers are thinking that you've struggled so hard to get to that point, you don't want to suffer anymore

Well we do because we're sado/massochistic Bitches
Or, we like a challenge to be consistent, that seems more likey...
