The original Assassins Creed end fight was alright compared to the 2nd game's. Do I need to go on?
It's a punch up with a fat bloke, at least Al Mualim tried
I kinda agree with you on this. Surely there's a way to bring a chapter/level to a conclusion in a way that doesn't necessarily mean big bad dude and a completely different style of play.Woodsey said:Boss fights (especially end boss fights) are outdated and need to be gotten rid of.
I don't mind having to go through more enemies with better AI, but when I get to the antagonist I expect them to be human (unless they're not, obviously). We're never going to get more organic experiences if they just triple the guys health bar, but them in a mech with rockets (for no reason) and let you get on with it.JEBWrench said:I kinda agree with you on this. Uncharted 2
Yeah this pissed me off. I was so pumped up for an epic fight that would mean a thousand deaths in some epic place...then it told me to press a button and I won. So let down.Nossy said:Fable 2.
Seriously. This guy kills your sister and has made your life a living Hell and in the end you just shoot him in the face. No epic boss battle. Just shoot. And if you don't do it, one of your sidekicks will!
Yes, they are. Metroid bosses have always been great in my book.run_forrest_run said:My apologies with the typo. Metroid 3 is one of my favourite shooters ever and the end boss(es) are absolutely fantastic.
Who was the Jak 3 boss again? It's been so long since I played it that I can't remember.pyrosaw said:Jak 3 also deserves special mention
