I noticed that years ago. He raises his hands as he jumps which goes behind the blocks as his head strikes the surface. Hard to convey that in a 2D world.
im still blowen by the fact he is still going after the same dimwit for what, over 20 years now? the blockthing doest effect me, at least, not as much as the fact he punches yoshi in the back of his helpful dino head to get him to lick shit.
