What is the weirdest anime you all have ever seen. When I mean weird, I mean out of the ordinary and just plane messed up.

Me? Oh is this an easy question...

FLCL. The story is weird, the characters are messed up, and the ending song is just plane weird.

But, I love it. It's amazing and so freakin random. One of my favorite animes of all time.

What about yours escapist? Your weirdest anime?

I avoided all the creepy anime that was creepy for it's own sake and not creepy via the eerie folklore and then absurd Japanese to English dubs....Devil Man, I am looking in your direction. Violence Jack was weird, but it had some really nice minimalism in showing the gritty run down city it all took place in.

The Tatami galaxy. It's about a college student trying to get laid (more or less), yet the show has the main guy going through different alternate realities on how he could have spent his freshman year at college, which can range from being in a tennis club to movie club to being a community repo man, only to rewind it chronologically back to the beginning every episode. That, and the rate at which everyone talks in Japanese would put Speed Racer to shame.

Excel Saga comes to mind weird & wacky and if you like anime you get a lot of the reference in it. It's on Netflix's watch instantly but I'm still glad I brought it.
