I tend to go for psychos, good in bed and being on edge is fun.

I watched my ex smash her face in and tell all my friends it was me, that was an experience.

Ahh, women in their mid-twenties going for early-30s guys. Gives my tired old soul hope for a brighter tomorrow (I'm 32).
Could this be the first Escapist relationship blossoming.

I'd say the opposite of the submissive quiet girl. Then again, I'm a sucker for about 50% of the opposite sex :D

Two thoughts:

1) Ask her. I'm game.

and

2) The first? Not quite. I happen to personally know a couple who met here on the Escapist (although I don't think I've ever seen them post about it here, so I'll keep their identities to myself in case it's a secret.) I don't keep track of who's zoomin' who around here otherwise.

Dark personality. I freaking hate "normal" people who act all happy and innocent when it comes to a lot of things. Misery likes company, so as a huge cynic and fan of dark and bad taste humour, I'd prefer the same things in my mate.

"Nerdiness" is another obvious trait. If you don't have much to do with the person as interests go, don't bother with a relationships. And I'm fairly deep into certain literature and movies in general, among other things like gaming and occasional D&D.

As physical characteristics (or even gender, I'm bi) go, I have little preference in hair style although strangely enough I find myself attracted to somewhat obviously butch chicks. Short hair is sexy. In case of guys, someone equally nerdy, I guess, I really don't have that much preference as physical looks go.

But I'd probably prefer him to be closer to Dr. Frankenfurter then Rocky as physique goes, hurrr.

Not really a pattern, I'll list all of my crushes if you wanna... I know you guys like to search for patterns.
Girl:
#1 Older than me, cute, dark hair, more mature
#2 Older than me really hot, dark hair, sister to a friend
#3 same age, dark hair, sporty type into football, sort of tom-boyish
#4 same age, blonde hair, quiet and "strange" type, really cute, really funny (the one who's "me" in girl form)
#5 same age, dark hair, party girl, but also a nerd (I know! 0.o), everyone thinks she's hot/beautiful.
#6 same age, changes hair color a lot, really outgoing, almost always happy, likes to laugh, also a party girl. doesn't drink, is really hot.(basically the optimal version of me, only in girl form)

That was my list. It is chronoligical with my first crush at the top,(back when I was like 10) and the latest one at the bottom. Can you find a pattern? (becasue I sure can't)
[sub]besides the dark hair?[/sub]

When it comes to celebreties I always fall for the ones with dark hair and a dominant personality. (maybe it's characters, Like Jordan form Scrubs :)
[sub] sad this is I still haven't gotten over # 4, 5 and 6. v_v[/sub]

I'm 25. My last ex was almost eight years older than me, he was the oldest of any of my exs.
1)SugarMaman do you take Simulord to be your lawfully wedded escapist plaything?

argghh, I did that in reverse, the accountant in me is screaming right now!

There's an accountant in you? Funny, if I find myself a girl and everything goes according to plan you and she will have something in common, at least when I finish my education and get my CPA license.

is CPA the north American version of being a trained accountant?

Yeah I was an Accountant since I was 16, trained up, got bored 3 years ago. Gonna go and do something fun like be a barman or a professional arse part.

Still, I've never really had more than a crush on all but one woman.

Never really fallen for a man.

Retrospective edit: What a low-content post.
I'm falling for you avatar right now! :D

I'll take what I can get. Seriously. That may sound desperate, and it is. I've got a similar problem to the OP. Either they're in a relationship already, or are (surprisingly often) five years older and suddenly become uninterested when they figure the difference.

If I do get a choice, someone smart that can have a conversation about anything, likes cashews, is quirky in some way, likes meat, and (because I am a man and as such appearances do matter) has a nice arse.

Licensed for accounting, auditing, and all manner of filling the GAAP in someone's finances. (HA! Nerd joke!)

My accounting professor this semester (Accounting 202, Managerial/Cost Accounting) suggested I become an IRS auditor because (his words, not mine) "it's the perfect job for a sociopath. You seem like the type who would greatly enjoy ruining people." Which in turn reminds me of the following:

Audens Avidius: I'm surprised, Itius. I didn't think you would stoop to arresting a fellow Watch Captain!
Itius Hayn: Only those who break the law.

and thats fucking hilarious!.

Whats the definition of Accountant...

... someone who solves a problem you didn't knew you had, in a way you don't understand!

edit, I wasn't a Human resources type accountant, I did project accountancy, you know the person that figured out that if the coffee was chargeable then the company would make money on beverages as opposed to lose a quarter mil a year... yeah that was me, we are just evil.

The closer she is to me in every way, the greater my attraction to her.

A financial accountant is someone who does simple arithmetic and counts your money for you and charges $200 an hour for the privilege. A tax accountant is someone who takes the fall for your shitty arithmetic and makes it worth your $200 an hour. A cost accountant is someone who gives you an excuse to fire that son of a ***** who's wasting your production resources and saves you $200 an hour you'd pay to the lawyer defending the wrongful termination lawsuit.

And an auditor is someone who knows all the illegal tricks that accountant you spent $200 an hour on used to make the IRS think you didn't make any money because you spent it all on a $200 an hour accountant and will ensure that you end up meeting interesting and very friendly gentlemen in Federal Pound Me In The Ass Prison.

(you think this is helping or hurting the attempted ship with that girl?)

It was the financial support bit that got you, wasn't it? You men are all goldigging sluts.
Quite the opposite, in fact. I can quite well take care of myself. I was thinking perhaps you may wish to acquaint yourself with a bit of a pattern-breaker. Well, except for that whole older-guy thing.
