Not much, but falling down a flight of stone steps onto a stone floor. I was concussed for two hours, and the head and back wounds took several weeks to die down.
That, or getting hit in the forehead with a ballistic piece of tarmac. Let's just say that a tarmac fight is not the cleverest thing I've ever been involved in, bearing in mind it could have easily have been my eye and I could be talking to you with an eyepatch.

This. It's the single most horrible thing I can imagine. I've broken bones, fallen down the stairs and had my airway close in an athsma attack (7 times >_>), but having your appendix burst inside of you and then leak bile and poisonous fluids all over your very delicate inner organs hurts like hell. I've never cried when I broke a bone, when I fell down the stairs or when my lungs almost completely failed, but when I had my appendix pop I literally cried for 2 days in pain.

Also, having a Catheter inserted into your urethra is something you do NOT want to experience. The male body is specifically designed to not let stuff up there so they have to force it. They force a (pretty god damn thick) plastic tube INTO your penis. That still grosses me out.

Having my girlfriend break up with me after I found her cheating on me with my best friend, it nearly destroyed me. My life is a black void of misery.

That or biting my tongue. That shit fucking hurts.

I've never really had extreme physical pain. It always seems like it's decent enough to know it's there, but not enough to really cause any duress. Really I would say ear infections and strep throat hurt the most. Never had any broken bones, but being hit by a car going 20 miles an hour, getting tackled while playing football without helmets and skinning 1/3 of my face on gravel, and hitting my face with a machete are up there though. I still consider myself very lucky though, considering all the jackass things I've done they've taken at most a month to clear up. I did have a tumor on my arm though, didn't hurt but it was interesting when they cut it out. They just used local anesthetic so I was awake while they removed it. I now know what a piece of chicken feels like when you're cutting the fat off it with a knife.

Knife in the gut... or knife through the knee? Gut... knee...
Y'know, I can't really choose.

Bruised lung, and a bruised kidney. Though by far the worst was when I ripped 2 ligaments in my groin. Couldn't walk for months afterward and the gorgeous blond who was doing the massage theropy must also have worked as a dom on her off time :(

Well, I've never broken anything and I can't really think of any pain that stands out as the "worst." There are two incidents I can remember that were somewhat irritating, though.

One was when I tripped on a step in the dark and chipped the bone underneath my kneecap. I still have a weird bump from that.

The other was when I got a tattoo that wraps around the back of my ankle and Achilles's tendon. There was a tattoo artist who decided to stay and watch me get the tattoo, waiting for me to freak out because I should have been in extreme pain (it did hurt a bit but it wasn't intolerable).

I also have constant back pain I acquired in a car accident. It can get quite painful (a sharp, nerve-pinching, shooting type of pain), but it mostly turns up as a dull ache and I'm fairly used to it always being there.

open synovectomy to my knee, constant pain for 3 days and the only relief I got was when I passed out, morphine didn't do anything.

This. Aside from anyone who has experienced a horrific shrapnel/limb removing war injury, a ruptured appendix is the most painful experience any normal person will experience. It beats out shallow flesh wounds, any broken bones, concussions, any STI, a small number of cancers and being mentioned in a Zero Punctuation review. It is absolutely horrible. A good and detailed, yet hilarious representation of a ruptured appendix:

That was an amazing story, honestly the only one I have read to completion in recent...years? Yeah, lets go with that. Years.

BAHA man when i was about 8 i fell out of a cupboard when i was playing hide and go seek and broke the growth plate in my left arm. needless to say i screamed like a *****...and dad hit me cos he thought i was lying, then grabbed my arm and which was bent cos thats how it broke into place...and straightened it out and broke it even more before deciding that he needed to bend it again so we could put it in a sling.

i have also had dreadlocks combed out cos i thought id look weird.

and 3 years ago i got hit by a car whilst running for the school bus. the funny thing was that my shoes flew off anf after i was still in shock so i couldnt feel any pain so i stood up and walked over and picked up my shoes and my bag and strolled to the sidewalk before lying down and calling an ambulance. one of those had to be there moments. needless to say everyone on the bus thought i was some kind of super though guy cos i stood right back up...but i was in pain once i got to the hospital.

these things are funnier in hindsight, but trust me,they pretty much suck dick.

I got two fingers caught in a fire-door as it slammed shut. It pretty much crushed the right side of my middle finger, and there was a pretty large bleeding under the nail, so it had to be punctured. A few days later both nails fell of. :p

The worst part was probably that it kept me from playing guitar for a while... And still sometimes hurt when I play. Ohh and my middle finger is still pretty fucked. Could post a picture, but meh... It's not that interesting really.

My most painful moment is probably when i was playing air hockey with a friend and the puck flew off the table and hit him in the crotch, i started laughing but the laughter caused me to tear a muscle so i went from hahahah to hahahAAARRRUUGHH!!! and hit the ground hard in pain. it was so bad i felt the slightest bit nauseous.

to compare, the pain of getting my index finger cut halfway through my index finger and losing the tip of my thumb only got a casual, if slightly rushed ow ow, that happend just after first grade so i was pretty young to not cry with that.

also hitting your funny bone full force... not funny, felt like my arm was on fire.

also again, apparently im a ticking timebomb for apendicitus... if that happens, after reading the other stories, i think that might be my new #1 pain

i remember this one time i fell on a gate spike
the pain was so bad, i couldn't even cry, i mean it just hurt to cry!
all i could do was hold my side and groan painfully, while tears roll down my face.

My foot doctor decided to try to fix my ingrown toenails right on the spot instead of suggesting surgery. She dug around in my toes with needles and tweezers and whatnot forever! (Roughly ten minutes. Extreme pain seems to prolong one's comprehension of time) No painkillers at all and I had to lie completely still. That was unbearable. If you ever get a real bad ingrown toenail or two, ask for surgery.

I got bit by a horse once. That hurt like a mother. Luckily horses don't have sharp teeth or a huge chunk of my arm would be gone.
