Since you are relatively new, I suggest you use the search button before making a thread that has any chance of having already been done in the past, as this one has. It's next to your messages and Profile settings.

Cheers.
Since you are relatively new, I'll tell you that it's common courtesy to leave a link if you must deja-nazi. Here, [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.117662#2231763] I did your job for you this time.
LOL. wow. so would that qualify as owned?

heh...Treadmill accident...fun. When I was young and stupid, I let my friend talk me into running on the treadmill with him. Two things were wrong. Besides me going on the treadmill, I had no socks on and I was to run toward the back of the treadmill. Our treadmill at the time had these slates that came up and over the treads near the end of the treadmill. They had these little slates that extended off those slates, leading toward the treads. There's enough room to fit a small stack of paper between that plastic slate and the treads. My bare-foot got caught between that slate and the rotating treads. It tore the skin right off my foot. You could start to see blood vessels and crap, and it gave off a really pungent smell. Left fine scar to boot...

Anyway, haven't felt anything as painful as having my foot peeled one layer at a time.

I've had a few from broken bones, nail through the foot, dart imbeded in the skull, but the worse by a long margin was tearing the ligements in my right knee whilst skiing.

Well, I've never broken anything or suffered any great injuries. But I react to everything in my stomach, so incidentally my worst pain ever was stomach ache caused by stress. It's hard to tell which time was the absolute worst, but sometimes when my bowel went apeshit, quite literally so, I just sat in the bathroom at night, banged my head against the wall (as if it would help), and cried my sorry ass off while trying not to wake up my parents. At it's worst a nice concoction of pain and misery which ends when you finally cry yourself to sleep while sitting on a ceramic bowl full of feces. Yeah, it's happened because the stomach ache only ever comes to me at night.

My foot doctor decided to try to fix my ingrown toenails right on the spot instead of suggesting surgery. She dug around in my toes with needles and tweezers and whatnot forever! (Roughly ten minutes. Extreme pain seems to prolong one's comprehension of time) No painkillers at all and I had to lie completely still. That was unbearable. If you ever get a real bad ingrown toenail or two, ask for surgery.
You've got my sympathy there. Both my big toenails were ingrown, and hurt like hell when I so much as stubbed them. I got surgery for one side of the left nail when the flesh at the side was actually growing over the top. Needed two local anaethestic injections in my toe, where there is next to no flesh, so that really hurt when the needles went in.

I got the rest operated on under general. So those toenails, collectively, caused me some of the worst pain in my life. After one time I stubbed a toe, the nail cut into my toe, and you can still see the scars where they cut into the sides of my toes. That's how bad they were.

infected tooth that led to a root canal. I can handle a lot of pain, but im a total pussy when it comes to teeth.
Exactly this, I did the whole root canal without anything to numb it, Also had to have a surgery to get something to allow me to have a false tooth...something akin to drilling a hole the size of a dime in your gum where it needed to be again without anything to numb it . (Or is that the same thing?)

An abcess on my gum as a child. Had that fucker for three years before the dentists FINALLY decided to just take the tooth out instead of constantly re-filling it.

And that hurt like a *****, too, because the abcess stopped the anaesthetic working properly.

Without doubt it was the time i tore my knee ligaments. It wasn't even if I was doing anything athletic or anything, i just turned to answer someone who shouted over, top half of leg turned, bottom half didn't. There was a god awful crack and i just collapsed in a pile. To this day I can't run worth a damn and every few years it happens again :-(

Bad times

I broke my arm... sad to admit it wasn't even a meter fall, but it took SEVEN re-breaks to get it to... well it still is crooked. Goddess, if I knew then what I knew now about lawsuits. Still I was on a wide range of pain killers that day, including oxygen starvation and other methods of killing pain without drugs as I was at the lethal limits and they where still screwing up.

So they had to manipulate it without pain killers.

I'm told I didn't scream out or anything. I say I am told because they gave me memory inhibiting drugs before they went ahead and broke my arm again. So I assume that was the greatest amount of pain I have been in, I just can't remember it.

Oh yeah, NO2... fun stuff, very fun stuff. I still can't remember what music I was hearing but it sounded Irish pub songish when sung by pop eye....

Some guy stabbed me in the ribs last year. The weird thing was, I didn't even know the guy, it was totally random. Then he ran off and I was left to bleed, be pained, and revel in the fact that it didn't hit a major organ.

When I went skiing 2 years ago, I flew off a corner and landed in a ditch.

Twisted my knee and squished all the cartlidge.

But I sometimes double over in abdominal pains and unable to move for a good while.
