mmm recently I laughed my ass off at that Youtube video of the dad wacking his baby girl in the face while playing Kinect, I said "I'm so going to hell" outloud after that.

I think everyone has had many of those moments, maybe not those words, but that feeling "oh shit did I really do/say that?"

Dude, I know that the opinion of a stranger on the net is worth nothing and that the only thing that matters is how you feel about yourself and all but, SHE HAD IT COMING!
She was jerking you around, taking advantage of you when you were messed up and even tricking you in to believeing you did something you didn't THEN trying to get your attention again.

Well let's just sayu I would have done worse, frankly you showed great restraint, unless of course you did something to her physicly by way of revenge.

Honestly I'd have said those things even if nothing like that had happened to me, I can't stand manipulators.
People keep telling me that, but I feel like I just sunk to her level. No, I didn't do anything physical, that's not my style, I've only had to get physical with someone once, and that was a guy who didn't know how to keep his hands to himself, if you know what I mean. I can't stand seeing women hurt, which is really the thrust of why I'm convinced I did wrong. It doesn't matter that she's a miserable slug of a person, I still hurt her, and that's against my personal code. It doesn't hurt that a small part of me is convinced she's just another fool caught up in playing games she doesn't even begin to comprehend. I've been there, you know?
I can understand how you feel, even though I disagree with it.

Look at it this way, you telling her this gives her an oppourtunity to change, now I know that most people simply refuse to improve themselves no matter what but no one has ever realised they were in the wrong without something pointing it out to them.
Besides, if it wasn't you someone else would do it and it could have been someone like me that responds to manipulation with violence, or it could've be someone worse.

Though I suppose the guilt shows you are betterthan her in that you feel bad about what you've done to others.

Um, no. Just no. Just because she has a vagina does not mean that she deserves better treatment from you. Do you remember the part where she deliberately tried to plant false memories into your head? That borders on fucking mind control. She deserved what she got, and hopefully that criticism will lead her to become a better person.

Me and my friends aren't racist (as in, we harbour no ill feelings towards those of other races) but one of us cracks the occasional 'joke that you laugh at but feel bad about' every now and again. I've had some good ones, which I won't repeat for obvious reasons.

Also OP, I don't think you should feel bad about it. Not that I know him, but if you were all WoW friends, he would have liked it.

I saw this girl at school who was crying, and after she walked by, I said to my friend Chris, "What's her problem?"
"Um, I think she's the girl who's parents died yesterday."
"Oh."
"Jesus, who died?"
You just reminded me of this (excuse the quality):
By the way when we all get to hell I'm bringing koolaid, moonshine and bootleg DVDs

I find it interesting that everyone thinks that they're going to hell for their actions... if God sent people to hell for stuff like that we would all burn. I'm a biblical scholar and having extensively studied scripture, I know that anyone who tells you you're going to hell is just a pretentious asshole who would have really pissed of Jesus. once I read the bible, I figured out that all the things priests and people told me were dead wrong, so don't belive anyone preaching that fire and brimstone bullshit. God loves you no matter how much of a bastard you are, because he just that great of a guy.
This has nothing to do with a literal "That is a sin, you are going to hell" sin, and everything to do with a "That was SO fucking inappropriate I should be punished" moment. You completely missed the point.
people who talk about hell that way are blind, there is no "you are going to hell" sin. God forgives you for everything, and people need to get out of that mindset that God is some kind of evil dick who just loves to see us suffer. no one, not even the evilest man who ever lived deserves punishment.
your still kind of missing the point of the thread friend(and this coming from a fellow christian) this(thread) is a place were we're recounting the more messed up and inappropriate things we've said and done...none of us think the things we've listed here are instantly damning us to hell(well among the users here who believe thier is a hell anyway).

When I was in the army, there was this asian recruit in the barracks next to ours, who shot himself in the face with an assault rifle.

Upon hearing of this horrible tragedy, a bunkmate of mine took two minutes to draw an extremely offensive caricature of a character with squinty eyes, buck teeth, and a conical hat, shooting himself in the mouth.

He was a classy guy.

One night my brother cousin and I were joking around on Rock band and decided that we needed a "fun" band. We made Hitler as our drummer and i can't remember the details but he was a really large black man and the band name was "The Big Black N" in large black letters.

A friend and I joke about becoming the president and vice president of the U.S.A. and uniting N. America then installing a bar-code system on peoples left forearms. Oh and by the way, I Just Lost The Game.

I bumped into a girl at my friends birthday party who I had previously hit on in a manner which was later described as "quite rapey".

It also included her avoiding my advances by saying she had a boyfriend and me subsequently saying "and?"

I have a lot of shame.
I've done something similar actually. I was chatting up a chick at a club, and she mentioned she was in a relationship. I asked: "Is it a good relationship?"

Also, THREAD RESURRECTION.

I once saw a really obese woman trip on her way out of a bus, and I laughed so hard, even after she got up and started to stare at me.. I felt like a little part of my soul died in that moment. Also the fact that I can't look at a midget(small people or what ever) without laughing like a mainiac!

I'm a horribel person.

Maybe you cracked jokes out of nervosity, I mean, I always smile when I'm nervous and I laugh when I feel pain, not like laughing it off, but also nervosity or something like that.

well the thing I felt most terrible about was when I was 5 a friend at my school died from a bad heart, my parents told me all about it, a few months later I'm sitting with a friend who remarks that he misses the deceased and wishes he'd come back from the "other school" he went to...obviously his parents didn't have the heart to tell him what happened, but I didn't know that, and being stupid at the time I quite callously said "he's dead" and for the next few days he'd sporadically burst into tears, said friend still calls me a bastard for that 15 years later

Yeah, I've had a few of those.

OT: We're currently studying WW2, so a couple of friend and I have taken to calling Hitler 'Uncle Adolph' as a joke. Cue me going to my Jewish frined's house and calling Hitler that. He was not impressed.

I did apologise though, once I'd realised what I'd said.

Uncle Joe was the nickname for Stalin, and he was WAY worse than Hitler.

Indeed he was, but he wasn't overwhelmingly anti-Sematic (spelling?) and he did not invade Europe, so people don't remember him as well as Hitler.

Well, he only killed approximately 20 Million Jews, by some counts. Just more than Hitler, that is all... Out of the estimated 36 Million, that is still quite a lot.

I once saw this commercial for a hospital that helped children born with deformities. One of the little girls on there was born with a deformed leg and had to have it amputated. With the help of the hospital she had learned to live with out the leg. By the end of the commercial she is smilling into the cammera and says "I can do anything any one else can." to which I replied "O yeah, wiggle your toes!"

Oh, that one definitely takes the cake.
