I find a disturbing lack of sexy in this pokemon list!

... Don't look at me like that! Stop it!

They aren't extremely awful this time around, but why the hell are there two wearing karate gees and one carrying a damned I-Beam?

I think they look alright, some of them are starting to look a little two human though, more humanoids than any ideration, and humaniod ones tend to be creepy.

Yeah, I don't feel like even skimming all the pages to see if someone also mentioned this, so if I'm just retreading... whatever.

#635 - Sazando: IT'S FCUKING KING GIDORAH! Yeah, the most bad-ass monster villain in the Godzilla universe, he's now a Pokemon. But that's not all...
#637 - Urugamosu: IT'S FCUKING MOTHRA! Okay, yes, that one is a stretch, but after having JUST seen Gidorah, you'll forgive my overactive imagination.

That said, the rest are... hit and miss. I for one am still kinda disappointed with Game Freak for making three fire/fighting starters in a row. Even the description provided is just... weak. According to Serebii.net: "Big Fire Pig Pokemon... It grows a beard of flame. It learns fighting type attacks that combine its speed and power." Laaaaaaaaaame.
On the other hand, the water and grass starters look and sound so immensely bad-ass. Now that I think about it, it's almost like Game Freak is actively trying to make the fire starter seem less desirable. Still, looking forward to some seriously bad-ass pokemon, this generation.

Well, they are definitely getting more creative with the pokemon type combinations, I like that part. Not too crazy about all of the designs, but maybe they'll grow on me. Some of them look cool, like that dark/dragon type Sazando, and that turtle.

Also, I'm seeing A LOT of fighting types. What's that all about? (One of them is carrying an I-beam??)

Ice cream pokemon!? What about the chandelier pokemon! Now that's just lazy
At least the chandelier pokemon is a ghost type, and they can pretty much take whatever form they want. (Rotom, or whatever it was called, comes to mind and there's also a coffin looking ghost type.)

That ice cream thing is just...I don't even know where to begin.

And how many of the new pokemon are just added evolutions or added "baby" forms? Every game just adds more plot holes.

I don't think any of them are. Because they announced that the game would feature the new pokemon only. If you could get the evolution or pre-evolved form of a pokemon in previous games, it would make that announcement false.

EDIT: You'll be able to trade pokemon over from previous versions after you beat the game once.

Ahhh, I remember the good ol' days, when Pokemon were gender-less and you only had to catch 150 (151 if you used a cheat apparatus to get Mew).

It was so simple back then. Good times...

They have been very unclear about this. In my interest in Emerald, I ofcourse found plenty of Black and White that showed older pokemon in it. Still. None of the new pokemon have any shred of origionallity and just looked like they put a glue covered animal in a trash can and shook it up, then looked through alphabet soup for names.

I had forgot to put in my previous post, that you can trade older pokemon into the game after you had beaten it once. As for the design, I'm not too crazy about them either.

I stopped caring about Pokemon after the First Generation. The First Generation Pokemon are the only ones I know of besides the infamous Mudkipz.

I gotta be honest, I'm impressed. Most of them look unique and the new dual type pokemon look like they should be interesting to test out in game.
