One time when I was working in a call centre dealing with one irritating customer who would never be satisfied with my service (unless I literally broke the law to give him what he was asking for), the following exchange took place.

Me: I'm sorry, there's nothing more I can do to assist you with your request. I have checked with my manager who agrees what you're asking cannot be done. He can't speak with you directly right now, but if you'd like, he can call you back later to confirm.

Customer: That isn't good enough! You're not providing me with very good customer service!

Me: That is a reflection of what I'm forced to deal with. You're not a very good customer.

Yes, I stole the line from acts of Gord. No, I didn't get fired.

Well, I once lost control and almost snapped the dude's neck.
But I didn't get to orally lose control yet.
Either I have control over myself or I attack physically...

I've snapped a whole lot, sometimes for minor reasons. Like when my friend took one of my fries. I grabbed a handful and shoved them down his throat.

Another time was when some bully was mouthing off in front of me. I punched him in the balls. That wasn't it either, while he was on the floor, I stomped on his balls, and I mean STOMPED. TWICE. Then I started strangling him until three of my friends dragged me off him.

I got a mite twitched off by a previous employer (Big W) for cutting my shifts down to 2 hours per week and expecting me to still stick with the shite job.

So, I built a pillow fort in the Manchester section and fixed a couple of defect Nerf guns that were lying around and proceeded to shoot any Big W employee who would walk by.

I had to be escorted out of Big W. I don't think my manager liked my reasonable protest of how little hours I was getting.

In year 7 aged 11-12.

A friend who annoyed me a lot every now and again went to extreme lengths to do so this time. At that moment of time his Dad was in the hospital due to cancer. And me being a bellend told him;

"I hope your Dad dies." He stopped. For good.

This is the very reason I rarely insult people anymore. Luckily I didn't jinx his Dad's survival., otherwise... I don't want to think about it if it went the other way.

At school a few years back, some douchebags were whipping me with their scarves (you know, like you'd do it with a towel) while we were sitting around, waiting for the teacher. They kept it up, despite my moving further away; so I finally grabbed one of their scarves, and held on tight.

When he failed to pull it out of my hand, let's call him douchebag2, walked up to me, and slapped me in the face. I ignored it, and just glared at him. So he started slapping me repeatedly, and kicking me on the shin. I kept my calm and, after a while, started loudly keeping count of how many times he had slapped and kicked me; doing an impression of a football annotator.

Then, finally; he kicked me in the head. I stood up, shouted something in his face, and went somewhere else.
scuse me? the proper response is to beat the shit out of them if they slap you or kick you.

I do sort of regret not tenderizing his face a little, yes; but I suppose I was trying to be the greater man.

This kid was bullying me at school and after 6 years of his crap I snapped and laced into him. Got away scot free aswell, somehow. It was all very odd as I'm normally a well behaved, mild-mannered person.

Let me see...

Well, a few years back, I was taking karate lessons and saw someone who looked oddly familiar, but who I couldn't quite place. I asked him his name and if we'd met. Turns out, he WAS someone I knew: an asshole from elementary.

A little context: I've always been a hefty guy. This kid was smaller, younger, shriller and faster than me, so I was in the odd position of being bullied (verbally) by someone my junior. And back then, I had little to no control over my emotions, so he got a rise out of me all the time.

Zoom forward back to the class. I thought "well, I'm he's still an immature little turd, but I'm not. I'll let it slide, not get upset etc.". He goes out of his way to bother me in any way he can, which includes violence, given the fact that it was karate. Now, he's still a twig compared to me (I'm not remarkably strong, but I didn't need to be), so he wasn't really doing any damage but it got annoying fast. Eventually, after a number of classes, he gave one taunt too many. I grabbed him by the throat, one handed, and slammed him against the concrete wall, telling him on no-uncertain terms that I was sick and tired of his pathetic antics. I can't recall if I threatened future violence, but I think I was relying on his admittedly limited imagination to fill in the blanks if he ever did it again.

The instructor sided with me, although I think he suggested I bring it up with him, rather than, say, chokeslam him or something. Didn't have to, the ass kept his mouth shut for the remainder of our time there.

I never say things I don't mean.
If I snap and I say things, I meant every single word.
Pretty much this. I really put up with things a lot more than I need to, so when I actually do say something about it, I really mean it. But the only times I ever really do snap are when people are just being intolerant assholes.

I'm very easy going for the most part, so this rarely happens.

The only time that I really blew up in somebody's face who wasn't online was when two of my friends invited me and two other friends to hang out with them. They just ignored us the whole time, and everytime the other friends and I would try to initiate conversation with them, they'd just glare at us and tell us not to bug them.
Finally I told them to fuck off, that if they didn't want us to talk to them, they shouldn't have brought us along. Thankfully they stopped after that.

Its a common enough thing. i've blanked a few times, and each time there's been property damage and human injury against someone else.

For example, when I was in third grade, I blanked. It was school picture day and the girl that would later become my gf (she's passed away, oitherwise i would still be with her), was in the same grade as me. She was wearing this... not really fancy, but a nice enough skirt that you could tell was so she would look nice for school picture day. Well, this fifth grader came by and knocked her over (he was easily bigger then her or really anyone), then tried to look up her skirt (he was from a family where opinions on women are lacking at best). Well, iw as walking down the hall and saw, and after i told him to let her go, he told me to piss off so blanked out.

All I know is when I came back to my body, the white tile wall behind us was stained red with blood, his head was opened up and he has a blank look in his eyes, I was being held back by two teachers, and the girl (her name was amy) was crying and screaming for me to stop so i wouldnt get in more trouble.

I got 3 weeks out of school, five weeks in, and for the rest of the school year i had to go to anger management. The kid who started it got expelled.

Not in my personal life too much.

But I work as a bouncer/doorman. There it happens quite a bit. Sometimes people will just not shut up and fuck off. You have told them again and again that they are not coming in, or whatever. Your trying to watch everything that is going on, talk to other people and this person just will not get out of your face. Some times you have to put your hands on them and give them a bit of a shove around to get your point across.
