The local newspaper will place high value on erotic photos, whether the people in it are undead or living (Dead Rising).

The gravity gun makes heavy lifting easy (in theory, the weight of the object being lifted would be transfered to the gravity gun, the mass has to go somewhere, meaning that it wouldn't be any easier to move a weight with the grav gun than it would be to do it by hand). From Half Life 2 (seems that Valve need to brush up on their physics).

It is possible to cram at least 20 guns and several gadets into a single backpack/webbing pouch (Metal Gear Solid 1-3).

You can shoot a zombie with a dual barreled revolver as much as you like and it still won't die (while 3 shots from a tripple barreled shotgun will do the job)- Alone in the dark: the new nightmare

Blowing up neutral wildlife is perfectly acceptable if you're on a mission of galactic importance (that won't go down well with peta)- Metroid Prime

A hazardous environment suit will still protect you from all forms of contamination even if it is missing a helmet or mask (it can even deflect bullets and energy too)- Half Life

Evil always loses, because of some easily ratified, but ignored problem.

Also an impregnable fortress always has an easily accessible door or entrance through sewers/hidden door.

nintendo taught me mushrooms are great.
it's ok to pillage if people don't see you
sword almost as big as oneself are just as easy to wield as normal swords.
in space there are tons of usefull weapons for your space craft
animals have money and other items on them.
and there is always someone foolish enoug to go into hostile enviorments and carefully places secret items for your convenience.
npc's don't reproduce in most games. (ok I understand that you cannot go around killing children for moral reason. but if you can kill other people in game who's talking about moral anyway)
If you hear a dog or a cat, they are not there..must be your mind playing tricks on you.
falling from great hights do not kill you as long as you see the floor.
Going to battle in barely any armor will not effect you in any way unless it's an RPG
ranting about pointless topics can be fun

but seriously I've learned a lot of english(still my spelling sucks)from games.
It also made me explore the great realm of myths and folk tales or did you really think all those weird enemies from games like castlevania where original ideas :p (some of them are)

If a door has a "woven-in" texture with the walls then It won't open.

Also they have taught me that Jack Thompson is an ass.
