Things people say on games that make you cringe

So I've been playing a lot of Monster Hunter on my Wii recently. It amazes me at what people say on the game that is clearly incorrect.

Basically, someone was telling me that my choice of hammer was incorrect because it didn't do as much raw damage as their hammer. We were hunting a Barioth and I was using my Huracana (a fire hammer) and he was using a Alatreon Metamorph (a dragon hammer). The guy kept lecturing me on my choice of hammer and I assured him I would do plenty of damage. The guy called me a noob and left the room.

Have you ever had someone just say something stupid in a game that made you cringe or made you facepalm at the stupidity?

First, I like your avatar. Second, I remember playing against someone who kept accusing me of screen watching (I wasn't BTW) even though he clearly was (he was sniping me every two seconds or throwing a grenade over a wall which I was on the other side of even though there was no possible way he could have known I was there. Oh, it was a 1 on 1 battle).

nope, i tend to mute everyone thats not in my group/clan, 99.9% of the time nothing anyone says in game is going to be worth listening to

Oh, I thought you meant about games after I initially read your OP not over gamechat. Strangely the latter is what I though upon reading your title.

Well, one time in Halo 3 someone called me a "rocket whore" after I had just picked up the rocket launcher from his dead teammate and beat him down with it (the accuser, not the dead teammate).

I always get "You're fat" as an insult. But the stupid so called "experts" on Monster Hunter say I don't know what I'm talking about. I've been playing the MH series for over a year now and have done my homework on the game. I know what I'm talking about.

all people who play pyro in tf2, are dicks. Curse pyros and their ability to cause meyham with nothing but the flick of a wrist.

Any time a pyro can just run it like crazy and ruin it for everyone, the sneaky spies cover is blown, everyones on fire running, and the pyro is like lol i troll u hurp derp.

'How do I fire the RPG properly?'

Me: 'Have you tried 'point and shoot?'

That is honestly almost unbelievable. XD

I wasn't aware there was a 'proper' way to fire the RPG besides just point and shoot

I hate it when people call people noobs because you're not using the single best method or weapon or whatever. I play whatever's fun, not whatever wins. If my life's on the line, or something important to me, THEN i'll go with whatever wins.

I disagree. I suck at TF2 in general and I find the pyro pretty easy to do. Doing it well is a whole other animal though.

I digress. Basically any praise for Tour of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. That game had no redeeming features.
