I Am Legend.

The film was amazing, at least for the first two thirds. And then the kid shows up, and everything turns to balls, and the original message of the novel is completely turned about and shat upon.

I don't think I've ever been so disappointed.
Not read the book but I agree that the film was amazing up until the part where he meets the woman and boy.
How do you feel about the original ending on the DVD?
The one where it's revealed that the alpha male... vampire monster thing... was in fact this whole time just searching for his mate that Robert Neville had captured and that was the reason he had exposed himself to sunlight and had been searching frantically?
The moment of love and humanity?

Yeah... that ending actually made sense and gave me something to ponder about, better then just 'blow these evil guys and myself up with a grenade to save some characters that no one likes' as an ending.

I am Legend is the first one mentioned.

"Because test audiences apparently didn't like the original ending, the studio opted to go with a new one in which Neville fights back against the vampires to protect his new allies. He does so by igniting a grenade about two inches from their face, destroying the once-safe stronghold and severely injuring his companions. It should also be noted that going by the original ending, Will Smith just murdered scores of reasoning creatures who were attempting to rescue a little girl."

Wait. What wigger?
If that's a response to a post about transformers then he means Jazz, the Porsche transformer.
Oh. the one that got what was coming to him for being annoying eh? I was happy he got torn apart actually.
I was all like "Finally!" A black character tends to die first in action flicks though. Hehheh.

I got one actually, the token black character.
This is a trend that has to stop.

Oaky first of all the writers have no idea how to write black characters, so their behaviour is essentially a stupid stereotype.

But the main reason is that most of the time movies add a black character to the story so as not to be accused of being racist when casting....
So to try to announce how 'not racist' they are they decide to add an out of place, obnoxious and annoying ethnic character who stands out from the rest of the characters and usually has little to no relevance to the actual PLOT. Who was added just because (s)he is black.
Isn't that just as racist when you think about it? Because they only do that to draw attention to the fact that the person's skin is a different colour to the others. You shouldn't need to add an ethnic character to a cast just for the sake of having one.
This is why I don't like Cole in the Gears of War games. Same problem, different medium.

really? I liked jazz and I was pissed when he died, I saw it as the the little guy getting killed instead of the token black buy dying, he was small and agile like me so I could relate to him, still it sucks when the little guy dies.

Taking Nicholas Cage out of any of his movies would actually make them watchable for me.
I agree. He's so 1 dimentional I can't tell where one character ends and another begins.

EDIT: Also, i know no person who did not hate that forced and kind of ugly sex scene in Matrix Reloaded...
That was the first sex scene I saw in a movie...I was thinking, "Shit, sex must really suck. And it looks kind of nasty."

The end of Death Race.
Ok the movie wasnt great, but it was pretty much a violent version of Mario Kart and who doesnt find that mildly ammusing. But the whole film goes thru with car chases, explosions and a petrol-tanker with flametrowers and a Tank cannon. Then the end turns into a love fest about this guys daughter or some shit.

Cut the last 10mins off this and finish it when the prison Warden blows up. Would make it way better.
I haven't seen the film but...

Are you sure you mean the prison warden blows up? Not a prison, but a prison warden? If so, that turned an awesome moment into an even more awesome moment. Must. See. Film. Now.

From the movie "the Usual Suspects" Remove Kobayashi's American accent. Im aware he has one because he is not actually asian, just pulled off of the board behind the interragator, but still. i would have enjoyed the movie a lot more if i was not always wondering why that asian guy had an American accent. And perhaps the plot twist would have suprised me EVEN more.

The Matrix had these Sequel things .... It'd be nice if something could be done about them.

It was a made up name. If you notice in the final scene where Agent Kujan is looking around the room he finds all the details Verbal gave while telling the story.
