- One of the most civilised gaming-focused forums I ever visited.
- A lot of awesome people.
- Proper grammar and spelling are appreciated, therefor this forum helps me improve my skill.
- Mods have their ups and downs apperantly, sometimes throwing around the banhammer like it's a toy, sometimes letting people slip by I think should be punished.
- It's just a really cool place to be.
I pretty much agree with you on everything in this post, it is a pretty cool place to be.

I've noticed that the Zero Punctuation comments thread is WAAAAAAAAY to long WAAAAAY to frequently to be based on the episodes/moved to an off topic location.
Zero Punctuation is moved to off-topic? When?

I'd discovered that sooner or later everyone seems to get banned, usually because they think that due to there post count/seniority that they are above the rules, they are not. Also this place smells like fluoride, or is that just me?

People are obsessed with the search bar.
This actually the only forum I've been on where people even care about the search bar...
Are the other forums gaming forums? Because every gaming forum I've been on that has more than 10 people activly posting will tell users to do a search if someone repeats a topic.

On other stuff, like DA, no one cares.

We seem to be having a lot of morality threads recently, most of them starting with "What would YOU blank blank blank?"

I've also noticed there's a lack of chairs...

Oh, and, i've noticed, that when a troll invades our beloved boards, we REALLY tell 'em off, don't we? Anyone remember that Joobnook fiasco awhile ago?
I wasn't there for that Joobnook fiasco but there is another troll on the forums who goes by the name Botched Necromancy and has a Nazi Turtle as an avatar. He basically posted some really crude pictures in the Bad mg4 game review and was generally being an a**hole about it. Don't go to the thread because it is really messed up, but if you see the guy around any other threads make sure to report him or atleast tell him off.

I wouldn't worry about seeing him any more... he does seem to think that he can make another account though...

Big time this. Internet kraken probably has a small brigade of search bar ninjas.

Also, at least partly because of Yahtzee, a good deal of people here hate anime and an even larger amount hate JRPG's.

Most people here are rather liberal/socialist, but our conservatives are passionate (I'm arguing with Mazty over what punishments should be in the autistic hacker thread right now, and just look at Darkside360's avatar).

Oh, and even if there's some truth to it, we seem to be elitist when it comes to the internet. We seem to think of ourselves as the last bastion of intelligence for forums.

Edit: I forgot to mention, we love Max. Pretty much everyone including me does.

I wonder if we're going to have a big us verses troll thing, 'cause I'm ready to fight. Also, if this goes on, should I make another therapy thread for those affected by the troll attacks?

That you'd better know how to spell, use grammar correctly and use a search bar. If you can't do any of those, god help you if you've started a new thread.... :p
Since God is our one and only Lord, he should have a capital letter...
KaiRai: Don't we all know it.
Gilbert Munch: I seriously hope you're joking.
Actually, I don't think I injected enough sarcasm in that, so it seems as though it could be seen as the truth... please disregard what I said...
Sorry, sorry. It's just that some people are serious. And those people REALLY piss me off. Try using some inverted commas. ^_^
And sorry for misinterpreting.

I've noticed that no matter what I write, no-body ever replies. I'm like the unwanted child of the Escapist.
I was torn between the deliciousness of seeing you get ignored while writing about being ignored and giving you a hug. Awwwww *hugs matnatz*.
Aww thanks George *hugs back*

Nope, and that was my point. The conversation escalates to such a magnitude in such a short amount of time that it can't be moved.

I've noticed that punishments for the "First!!1!!one!!1" comments on Zero Punctuation have gone from bans to probations and suspensions.
It's also a really nice place to be.

And that I'm still not a common name yet... Damnit -.-
At what stage do you become a common name?
at the stage that people remember your previous posts and accept your oppinions, i am quite sure you are a good example Cpt_Oblivious

or at least that´s what i understand :p

what have i noticed????, that people complain too much because "supposedly" some rules are not harshly enforced, when the comunity is the one that haves to click the "report" link, also, the "search bar" is almost never used... and almost no one cares.

I've noticed that as hard as the mods work to keep these forums a nice place to be, (and I congratulate them for all their hard work) sometimes they go batshit. I saw a thread locked last week because the OP said "fav" instead of "favorite". For the most part, however, I quite enjoy it here.

Ive noticed that the moderators are real jerks. Acting all important just because their name is gold in color. Who do those asshats think they are? I mean if I was to....

oh wait...
