It's not so much a psychical trait but more of a personality defect:

I'm the quiet girl. Apparently this labels me a mass-murderer as my overzealous classmates insist I'm keeping a "list." It would be so tempting. Doesn't help with my less than impressive conversational skills. But to the point - because of this constant influence in my life I now have such a bad inferiority complex that I find it hard to believe that anyone would genuinely like to talk to me or spend time with me. Even family. As such, I avoid people. Go figure.

Doesn't help that numerous of my teachers have tired to figure out "what's wrong with her." As apparently trying to focus on your work is a bad thing. So far they've considering my being depressed, suicidal, shut-in, "slow," and just plain stupid. Thank you, educational system, for assuming my good grades are just a flunk. Does wonders for already non-existent confidence.

It's annoying when people insist something is wrong with you because you don't fit in their little box of cookie cutouts.

That is horrible, I'm sorry all that happens to you. When you're out of school things will get better, you'll be with new mature people and out of the house.

Are you tired of being the weird person that no one will talk to? Tell your tale and/or thoughts:

I was born with naturally red eyes (genetic defect) yet my right is darker than my left (which is also my worst eye). All my life I have been called a "witch", a "demon", and "the daughter of Satan" by people who saw my eyes. My parents were banned from their church because of this, and they've never forgiven me for it.

This changed (somewhat) in 2004 when I had to get corrective lenses for my left eye which was becoming worse, and contacts were my only option. I wanted to get a different colored iris to hide my left eye so my optometrist decided to make it green since green is the pposite of red on the color spectrum. So I ended up looking like Suiseiseki prior to Rozen Maiden. This was not a problem until I enter high school 3 years ago, and by then a few had seen RM. So then I became the laughing stock of my school.

Now they call me a "nerd" and a cosplayer" and that I dyed my hair brown (which I didn't). My reputation is so trashed at school that no one will talk to me except for my boyfriend will talk to me. I have to keep Clorox wipes in my locker because someone writes "Desu" all over my locker every day. It gets even worse when I get home, where my parents want nothing to do with me.
Your parents are stupid. So is your Church. So is your school. Two diff. eye colours sound badass.

Embrace the hate...

I'm a weird guy I know quite a few people don't like me. I'm not very physically intimidating either. I simply let it be known that despite that fact you'd win the fight... at the end of the week I'll still have both kneecaps.

Getting expelled in my first freshman year for having a "list" helps too.

Eh, I spent my 7 years of elementary school being either ostracized or beaten by every one of my peers more or less every day, all while every authority figure in my life, parents included, completely ignored any and all cries for help. As for why, the best I could figure out is that my parents were moderately successful, and I'm rather intelligent, while the rest of my class collectively had the IQ of a cheese grater.

Then we go to high school, where I was yet again ostracized due to never having learned how to interact with my peers. Nothing physical, but I was alone save for a small group of other social rejects. I'd do just about anything for all 4 of 'em though.

Basically, I'm a social reject with a very small circle of very good friends, and nothing outside of that. Oddly enough though, I don't regret a minute of it. My friends, few though they are, are amazing and I'm grateful I had the chance to meet them.

The only real downside to the whole thing from my perspective is that I've never been able to so much as hold hands with a chick in any romantic fashion, and I turned 21 not long ago :(

Wow, that sucks about your situation, I think having natrualy red eyes is awsome. What kind of church bans people for having red eyes? I thought that there was somthing in the bible that said that a deamon or the anti-christ would be physically unable to enter a church?

At my school,I m kind of a weird kid, at least personality wise. I like to blurt out random things or just say somthing weird or occasionally hit my self for no reason (on that note, I think that because I would hit my head with books when I was younger my body has become indifferent to head injuries, no joke, i've taken text books, basketballs, walls and paintballs to the head and I usually just brush them off after a secound or two). I'm not an outcast though, a lot of the kids at my school know me and still hang out with me despite my weird personality.

This just proves how religion is an unnecessary piece of shit that does more harm than good. But anyway I would be overjoyed if i had red eyes. That makes you unique. Im sorry to hear about your school. Kids are simply retarded these days
My boyfriend is seemingly the only atheist in the school, and he's the only one who is fine with my natural eyes. Proves how much more civilized atheists can be.
Not to hate, I'm christian meself, but I do know what you mean. Religious Fanatics are not a good thing, as they believe what they're doing is morally right.

@ the OP:
Your condition is intriguing. I take it you have some form of albinism? (Judging by your red eyes, and vision problems.) I personally fail to see where such a condition would be a negative point. (other than the aforementioned vision problems) While I have never heard of the anime, I personally would likely have made a point of asking about the heterochromia.
Frankly though, (And I speak from personal experience, as a Christian.) the behavior demonstrated by the pastor is not appropriate, and most certainly not Christian. It goes against the doctrines of the original religion, and what was preached in the bible. What denomination is he from? I personally, (and no one from any congregation I have been a part of), would not think anything of your eye color, beyond its status as genetic anomaly. You have my condolences for the harm they have caused with their bigotry; Behavior like that is not the norm, and has no part in the religion. It stems from their own insecurities, and a desire to blame someone else for their problems, real or not. Your instance with your peers in school is of a similar nature. They treat you like that to make themselves feel superior by mistreating you.

Just my two cents.

If they know your eyes are naturally red, then why would they think you're a cosplayer? Ask them why they think so, and why its such a problem for them. They probably don't know themselves.

Well, I like being that 'weird guy'. I don't want to be friends with people who don't like who I am. And being 'weird' has led to very interesting developments in my life. Like this one: Back in my sophomore year (two years ago), I decided that I wanted a roll-around suitcase to carry my books in, since it could carry so much more. This irritated many students at my school. Another thing I did was run to lunch everyday. That probably hurt on the good ol' popularity meter. These two facts so angered a student that he felt I had to be stopped. This led him to create a Facebook group completely dedicated to stopping me from getting to lunch. Yeah. Let me tell you how in-depth their plans were. They had my schedule on-line. They had fucking PATROL POSITIONS! They put their studies on hold to stop me. One of my close friends told me about this Facebook group. Instead of talking to my dean, I immediately joined the group, poked its leader, and I've kept my Facebook page ever since.

they are insecure about themselves, and can't deal with their own issues, and to compensate they act like a dick to other people.
