Been there. The lack of confidence thing really ain't fun. I spent most of my elementary school years as the class punching/kicking/batting bag and being ignored by adults, which did wondrous things to my self-image. It's painful, but it can be overcome.Shirachi said:It's not so much a psychical trait but more of a personality defect:
I'm the quiet girl. Apparently this labels me a mass-murderer as my overzealous classmates insist I'm keeping a "list." It would be so tempting. Doesn't help with my less than impressive conversational skills. But to the point - because of this constant influence in my life I now have such a bad inferiority complex that I find it hard to believe that anyone would genuinely like to talk to me or spend time with me. Even family. As such, I avoid people. Go figure.
Doesn't help that numerous of my teachers have tired to figure out "what's wrong with her." As apparently trying to focus on your work is a bad thing. So far they've considering my being depressed, suicidal, shut-in, "slow," and just plain stupid. Thank you, educational system, for assuming my good grades are just a flunk. Does wonders for already non-existent confidence.
It's annoying when people insist something is wrong with you because you don't fit in their little box of cookie cutouts.
actually, it'd be more playful suggestions, you just went creepy straight from the get goseydaman said:damn..red eyes..sooo hotdogstile said:wait, you're a girl who has red eyes?Suiseiseki IRL said:my boyfriend
i would be hitting on you constantly. being weird is a blessing, be proud, stand tall, it'll get better.
i dought it but, people sometimes have trouble conveying their feelings to people, causing awkwardnessSmartIdiot said:My eyes turned red when I started smoking pot. Everyone looked at me funny but I just burst out laughing at them, I... couldn't really do much else.
But seriously I used to have a friend in school with similar eye condition to you (her right iris was red and a little of some other colour which escapes me right now) and no one really said anything to her. Apart from another friend of mine who used to wind her up all the time, only because he fancied her. Strange what people do to show their affection...
There you go, just think of it as them showing affection to you...?

you punched him..?bwhahahahahhatheflyingpeanut said:I regularly had the shit kicked out of me in primary school because of my english accent. I got big, and my mates helped, and it stopped. However, from then on, I was very quiet except around my friends, so people thought I was wierd. They gave me shit for that, and because I was big and they thought I was afraid of them because I ignored them. Most stopped, because I'm actually quite funny, and apparently likeable. The one guy who kept going on only stopped when I punched him in the face.
In short, people are arseholes for the most part, and having the simple bad luck to be born where you are and with the red eyes has just given you much less chance of fitting in than most people who are different. That your parents do that to you though, I don't mean to offend, but when you can leave, do it, and don't go back.
i said hitting on her, then you went to "red eyes...sooo hot" which wasn't hitting on someone, that's just creepy in my opinionseydaman said:explain that better i didn't quiet get itdogstile said:actually, it'd be more playful suggestions, you just went creepy straight from the get goseydaman said:damn..red eyes..sooo hotdogstile said:wait, you're a girl who has red eyes?Suiseiseki IRL said:my boyfriend
