Satanism [http://feastofhateandfear.com/archives/lavey.html]
I find satanism to be for emo's and self-harmers who want to stand out and try to shock you by saying they worship a devil. I am unfazed by this, and call them faggots.
You sound like a ball-o-fun to be around. Meh, to each his own I guess.
Well, it's hard to empathise with a belief in being a total dick for the sake of oneself.
Although, I will admit, LeVay himself was one freaking awesome looking fellow:

So far as entertaining? Greek mythology. Memorable stories, specifically the one about the God of Gardening comparing his genitalia to that of a mule, and almost winning. How can you beat that?

For a moral compass? Well, I think Gandhi said it best:
"Christianity is such a great religion. If only it were put into practice somewhere."

I'm sort of suprised at the number of people who chose buddism, and I choose it for the same reasons. (although i hate looking like im jumping on the bandwagon)

they are so cute and i so don't care
Environmentalists aren't necessarily part of a religion. The just like to breath.

Unitarianism because of the strong focus religious tolerance and social justice. Quakers because modern Quakers have pacifism and also social justice are part of their religion making them very important activists. They won't stop with the anti-war protests until every soldiers is brought back from Iraq.

Buddhism, its very calming and simple, its also not imposing in any way.

Secondly, Taoism, as it seems to be another calm religion that doesn't enforce too many rules, however I may be wrong as my religious studies only know about Buddhism, christianity and Sikhism, not many others

Buddhism (surprise!), because never have I been woken up at seven in the morning by Buddhists asking me if I've found Buddha. They also seem like pretty calm and mellowed out people. I've never heard of a war started by Buddhist extremists.

I also really like the ancient Greek and Norse religions and stories, mostly because they're WAY more fun to read than the Bible, Torah or Quran.

Buddhism; they're relaxed people and they don't come knocking at my door at 7:30 in the morning.
The Amish too ^_^
I like the Amish! There is a huge Amish population near my town and they sold these wicked and super cheap straw berries near this grocery store on the outskirts of town. The craziest thing, this is a Sobey's (a big chain here, id guess elsewhere too) and it has a fucking STABLE in the parking lot, I'm not shitting you one bit.

I'll actually get a picture next time I'm there!

Actually all religions have thier sense, Egyptians worshiped the sun, Greeks worshiped many things. Cristian worship their ability to think, Buddhist worship their own potential. I guess all religions have a "lovable" and helpful understanding of life to people and their times.

There is of course LaVeyan Satanism, which is an athiestic religion based around the preservation of self, and treating one's selve AS God. There's a few philisophical fallacies in it, but otherwise it's quite a reasonable position. All you have to do is ignore the hypocricy of showing your non-conformity by assigning yourself to a religion.
This here.

I really like the philosophy and i'm considering doing it properly.

what.
Get out. You are not an atheist.

How did Jesus save humanity from original sin by getting pinned up on a cross?

Hey, honey, Jesus crist was indeed a real person, and he did bring a message of peace so yeah he is a "savior" of a sort and he indeed died to save people that he had never met. I'm not a christian, surprise! and even curing the blind and giving from one pice of bread to a whole town seems believable. But the whole idea of god. no that i would have to see.

Honestly, any religion which doesn't demand everyone has to be in their religion, because they need to be "saved" from themselves. There aren't to many religions like that >.<
I'm pretty sure all religons except Chirtianity, Sientalogy and maybe Islam are like that.

I always feel weird when I'm walking by some amish people while blasting my iPod. One time there was an Amish family in a carriage on the road, it was awkward passing them...
