Well, it was different. And I kinda liked it. Especially because it was different. I loved playing as this cute little Kai girl. She was very different and always made me coo xD. Plus, she shot arrows out of some firing barrel-thingy, and you could slow down and guide the arrows into the enemies with the Sixaxis controller, I LOVED it. Her missions were just so fun.Gigaguy64 said:Wow.Josh Kurber said:Very; especially when you had to press the buttons in order to counter certain moves. Range could only counter blue attacks, heavy red, and blah blah blah.Gigaguy64 said:Ehh.Josh Kurber said:Yeah, to do range moves you had to hold down either R1 or L1 and the attacks and everything changed whilst the button is held down. Same with heavy attacks. Regular attacks; you just play like normal.Gigaguy64 said:Im hoping the sword is something the player can alter depending on their play style.Josh Kurber said:I know. I love the sword. I am just worried it will become something similar to Dante's scythe in Dante's Inferno. It'd be cool, but it'd be a bit tedious, and no one wants to see DmC become God of War: Hades May Cry. Though I am sure they can leave out the Quick Time Events and whatnot.
i love the idea of Grappling an opponent with it and forming the blade again to smash them into the ground.
I dobut that there will be any QTEs, or at least i hope not.
Never played HS....but they made you do that?I also don't want to see them make you hold down a button to have range attacks, normal attacks, and heavy attacks, just like Heavenly Sword. If the story was as good as HS, I would gladly play this game.
Id rather separate buttons for each but that they can be used in conjunction to pull of special moves.
It doesn't sound too bad.
But it must have gotten annoying in boss fights huh?
So HS is basically Frustration:The Video Game.
Im makes me wonder how the developers thought something like that would be a good idea.
