I had trouble coming up with this list. I haven?t played that many games of this console generation and I played way too many games on the older systems to remember most of em. So my brother and I came up with games that we both enjoyed at the time they came out.

1.) Need for Speed Most Wanted (I know, I know, but I have probably spent weeks of my life playing and replaying that game, it's just the best one in the entire franchise imho)
2.) Fable (ditto)
3.) Anno 1701 (just looking at the cities I created can occupy me for an hour)
4.) Sid Meier's Pirates! (watch the first PotC and play this game afterwards. You too will want to become a pirate)
5.) Dawn of War + Addons (It made me seriously consider buying table top figures)
6.) World of Goo (I dare you not to like it)
7.) Portal (see above)
8.) Morrowind (I actually hand drew a map with all the locations and bounty spots)
9.) Crysis (If my garden looked like this I would actually go outside)
10.) Silverfall (Diablo cloning at its finest)

10. Half life 2. One of my favourite Story shooters I love doing it on G-mod with friends too.

9. Legend of Zelda: Twilight princess. One of the few games that I can say im proud to own a Wii for.

8.Sonic Adventure 2: Battle. I loved this game. It wasn't perfect, but it was very fun.

7. Halo 3. The game is an FPS, and in that regard, it does the job well. Sure it wasnt better than the others but hell, loads of players and Forge is pretty awesome.

6. Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. The game was hated for its looks, but this shows you never judge a book by its cover. This game is a Little gem, but the map is HUGE "Sure its boring to travel, but atleast it shows that you're in a big enviroment".

5. Final Fantasy XII. This game was a good mix of Realtime and turn based strategy. Quite entertaining, quite hard.

4. Tales of Symphonia. Awesome, just awesome.

3. Tales of Vesperia. didnt really like the story towards the end kind of emo. Awesome gameplay though.

2. Kingdom Hearts. The game was good, the story was OK and the characters were pretty bad, but gameplay is all that matters, right? RIGHT?

1. Dark chronicle. (Dark cloud 2) This game was AWESOME. Its very polished off, and gives a cozy feel while playing it. The voice actors were good, and the gameplay was smooth. The story was interesting too. I spent about 200 hours on this game, plus about 50 from other saves. AWESOME.

dark chronicle is a definite number 1 for me too. i'm surprised i never see it listed in these things. such a beautiful game. i'd also stick KH, FF XII, and windwaker in mine. i agree with you about twilight princess as well, although my wii broke when i was 80% through it so i never completed it .

In exact order:

1.) Unreal Championship 2: The Liandri Conflict-- I LOVE this game and still play it regularly because I am in love their battle system. I love how you can go from FPS to 3rd person melee. It takes a long time to get the hang of the melee system and become effective, but it is so worth it when you do. It's the only game that, once you get good, you feel like an unstoppable beast tearing through your enemies one by one.

2.)Halo series-- best online game ever.

3.) Hunter the reckoning-- it's fun to get 4 people together and face hundreds of the undead. I think that game had the most enemies on screen at one time than any other xbox game at the time

4.) Rome Total War-- The best and most mods of any game.... ever.

5.) Prince of Persia series-- I love the platforming.

6.) Tiger Woods 2004-- the only "good" one in the series

7.)Guilty Gear Reloaded-- the best 2D fighter I've played

8.) Power Stone 2-- Dreamcast classic. It was Smash Bros before Smash Bros.

9.) KOTOR series-- it's the only RPG I've ever actually finished. I still think they should make the story into a movie.

10.) A tie between The Suffering because it's the only game I was scared playing and Stubbs Zombie without a Cause because who wouldn't have fun eating an entire towns brains one moment and then have a dance off with an army general the next?

As they come to me:
*LoZ: Wind Waker, its beautiful, soundtrack is relaxing, controls well, its really big

*Portal, it's darkly hilarious, nice manipulation of physics, the lack of BGM immerses you into the fact that it is just you and a computer, song made me laugh while still making me feel like an absolute jerk, and you can download mods like Portal Prelude if it gets too easy

*Golden Sun: The Lost Age, is there anything I can say that hasn't been said here before

*Pokemon Gold, is my favorite after playing through 3 gens. Again big map, 250 is a very nice number, your rival is evil therefore making his team evil which is cool

*Advance Wars: Days of Ruin, easily my favorite of the series capturing the true feeling of war, ruin looks a whole lot better than wasteland, balancing out the entire system, simplifying the CO choices to 12, wifi, and Mr. Bear, my favorite CO

*Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, makes excellent use of the dark-light system which Nintendo feels like putting into every game now, also beautiful, the bosses are varied in strategy, multiplayer is fun

*Super Smash Bros Melee, improves the original SSB, can't beat 2 hours in the basement with 3 of your friends smacking each other around, single player is still fun with an adventure mode for each character that takes 20 min tops instead of this long SSE thing with Brawl

*Crash Bandicoot 2, my first 3D game, fun platformer, some of the ways Crash dies are just great, levels although linear are very well designed but that's the formula, Naughty Dog made it

*Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic, great RPG, great story, fun to be evil

*Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, the look of disbelief on my friend's face when I told him I played a real time card based rpg, the card mechanic was well implemented, the CG cutscenes at the beginning and end, double sided story

It just sucks, you know, getting so close to defeating the first 'boss' of either game, but then continuously unable to proceed further due to the damn button mashing/sequences.
