Alright, I'm gonna take a couple moments to explain the commonly listed 'hated' shows and why I genuinely like them, because maybe if you hear it from someone who came to enjoy the shows on their 'own', you'd understand...
Bones: It's a Crime/Comedy, heavy focus on the humorous writing of the show. When it gets serious, it goes 2 ways, either VERY well handled and heavy with a psychological tone or forced and hokey like when they're trying to send a message sent by hundreds of shows before it.
Glee: It's a campy comedy that is fairly funny and when it's done right, has some DAMN good musical performances. Is it possible they're pre-recorded? Yeah, but is it actually those kids and is it likely they're actually singing and the music just got overdubbed? Yeah, but it's not like any other show doing the same thing has an actual live performance. There are parts to the show that are tiresome and god knows that the drama surrounding the closet gay dude on the football team and the openly gay guy who left the Glee Club to go elsewhere is an extremely stupid and pointless storyline, but it's a mostly 'fun' show.
The Office: You have to understand what kind of fucked up people there are in the world to 'get' this show. It's a love it or hate it.
Weeds: The show has become almost sitcom-like in the terms of non-sensical hijinks that happens. It's a sitcom with a TVMA rating and no laugh track. Also, the actors themselves are kinda selling points, as people like Kevin Nealon and Mary Louise Parker can be very off putting to some viewers. The plot itself however, actually exists and is remotely interesting and ended on one hell of a cliffhanger last season.
Just throwing things out there, as I used to be someone who didn't care about Glee at all. Burned through a couple episodes here and there and just started watching since the most recent season started.
However, no one here should force themselves to like Big Bang Theory. It's an awful abomination of a show that should never be watched.
