Glenn Beck. Everyone I know won't go within a mile of it. But it is the funniest comedy show on the planet. The best part? People actually think he's serious. No open laughter like Jon Stewart.
Very droll sir, very droll.

John Barrowman is pretty fine too, I agree with you on that. I'm just more into her.
Toshiko is quite pretty.
And the weevil in the basement, I'd tap that.
Not to mention Captain John Hart. Oh the things I'd do to that man...

The Jeremy Kyle Show
I love watching that show some mornings just to see Jeremy tear obnoxious couples minds before telling them to get out for being plain stupid, he's more straightforward than Jerry Springer.

I get criticized for NOT liking Doctor Who. It's like my geek cred suddenly takes a nose dive or something.

OT: Glee. Yeah, okay, the second season was off its rocker, but the first one was BRILLIANT. Haters gonna hate, but I liked the damn show.
Agreed! Most people haven't actually watched it, as they assume because it's singing in a school it's shit, but it's honestly one of the funniest shows I've seen. Plus, Sue Sylvester is a genius, and the actress who plays her is great.
"I... don't menstruate."
"Yeah, neither do I"

That and Torchwood. Some people don't like that. I really do even though it has many faults, and Eve Myles is fiiiine.
Can't say I share your opinion on Eve Myles... Me and my girlfriend refer to her as the ugly cow. I've ruined many episodes for myself getting frustrated by her stupid face and stupid character.

I like Torchwood, even though I think half the characters are pulling the show down.

Besides that... can't think of any shows except in the opposite scenario. I thought Buffy was stupid as hell, my lord that series was SHALLOW. Josh Whedon really knew the mental limitations of his audience (teenage girls?), so he didn't go out of his way to add any depth or coherency in his world.

I get slagged off for liking Glee all the time. Apparently it makes me gay. You'd have thought the whole "has sex with dudes" thing would have accomplished that a long time ago, but nope. Turns out I wasn't truly gay until I'd watch Glee.
You weren't truly gay until you liked glee.

OT: Not sure. Battlstar Galactica and Firefly, but only by people who have never watched them and assume them to be something like Star Gate. Apart from that... well Mum critices everything the family watches on TV. Top Gear, South Park, Family Guy.

I get criticsed more often for my choice in music than TV.

Friendship is Magic.

Come at me, broham, this show is awesome.
I would normally, but I recently saw a few episodes. It's not bad except for the part where I very nearly lost my mind. God damn, when I said it was a virus a long time ago,I didn't know I meant it literally...
That show is like a maelstrom of pastel colored ponies. There is no escape...
But the question is,IS IT SUPPOSED TO MAKE ME TWITCH AND WANT TO BASH MY HEAD AGAINST THE WALL!?
Insanity is fun most of the time, but this was like I was having a fucking staring contest with Cthulhu.

That's how you reacted to the show? What a shame. I think it's cute and fun. Well, not everyone likes the same things!

For some reason I am suffering from stages
Stage 1: Curiosity
Stage 2: Fear
Stage 3: Insanity
and finally
Stage 4: Acceptance.
Ironically this happened in the cycle of four episodes!

True Blood

Some people blindlessly hate it and think its like twillight. But if you have watched a few episodes you know it isnt just some teen soap opera. It has some great scenes and plenty of violence/gore.
Until series 3 where almost every episode contains some guy on guy in some form, that put me off.

Stargate Universe, I loved it, but so, so many bad reviews. Also The Cleveland Show.

Something a little older, got cancelled after 11 episodes, The Tick, was awesome.

Your avatar just gotta make a choice. Do he want to hold guns or a happy filly Twilight?

Well considering SOMETHING bit his hand off,I would presume losing the gun may just cost him another limb, possibly a leg or something. Living in Fallout isn't easy with all the raiders and deathclaws running around.

Who have you been talking to that criticizes Doctor Who?
Many people. I think I need some new acquaintances. The Doctor Who criticism doesn't bother me much, but the criticism of Burn Notice and Falling Skies really bugs the hell out of me.
In my general experience most people who criticize Doctor Who haven't actually seen it, or just watched part of an episode or two and didn't get it(since you kind of have to watch it from at least the beginning of a season to get what is going on). I am rather more understanding of people who criticize the old Doctor Who, although I like it just as much as the new, since I will admit that it did often have pacing issues and some of the special effects are laughable so I am generally understanding of people who just can't get into it because they aren't as into old TV shows as I am.

I suppose it all comes down to the bizarre nature of opinion. No matter how beloved and/or critically acclaimed something is, some people will hate it, and no matter how reviled and/or critically panned something is, some people will love it. My only pet peeve comes when people confuse their own opinion for something's actual quality, i.e. just because you like something doesn't mean that it is good, not is it bad because you dislike it.

Deadliest Warrior. That's not to say they're wrong, the show is awful. However it's still fun to watch.

ture blood. apparently not liking twilight should make not like that show since it's "just a cheap knock-off. well in true blood vampires explode when set on fire long enough.
also 30 rock and community because without laugh-tracks shows can't be funny anymore.

American Dad. It's not a great show, but I think it's funny.

Deadliest Warrior, it's by no means an intelligent show. But it's very entertaining watching random weapons destroy random targets, most of which are filled with blood.

there's your obvious blind mlp:fim hate. but as for the more obscure, i'd have to say i dream of jeannie. everyone that knows i like it says they don't understand why, and it's the stupidest show they've ever seen.

Star Trek - The Next Generation, ST-DS9, ST-E, Eureka, Game of Thrones. When I tell my friends, that I'm going home to watch any of those, they give me blind stare and call me nerd or geek. Right after that, they start watch Jersey Shore or some other reality show; I give them blind stare and say I rest my case.
