And for those in the Middle East they can receive it in a care package if they need it so desperately. They're not banned from playing the game.
You need a 4 kill streak to get medal of honour? MOH players must be pro:)

Again, these are GROWN ADULTS who should be able to buy whatever content they think they can handle. Bans seem pointless.
I agree, wouldn't it honor the military more to allow them to choose what they want to play!?

1) 4 years in the navy and going to army bases sometimes I have never seen a Gamestop.

2) This is banned, but CoD and past Medal of Honor games are soled frequently in NEX's and PEX's, but I guess it is ok to play games in wars in which almost all of the veterans are dead today, but it isn't ok to play in recent war games. Just games that take place and and have a different story line.

This is what happens when countries don't go to war. There is nothing for the admirals(navy side) to do but sit around the table and make up stupid policies. Trust me it is one of the reasons I got out.

I bet that past Call of Duty games were sold in on-base stores, though. Meh - it's probably because the Nazi issue wasn't as recent, so I suppose it makes some sense. However, I don't think that this game should be completely banned from all stores.

The government knows better than you do what you should or should not enjoy playing. Let them think for you, most of the rest of people in the states do!

This is the same military that doesn't let you be gay. To them you are not people, you are their playthings.

And I don't find it necessary to post something saying i support the military or what-not, because it's stupid to have to justify any statement when there is the freedom of speech that plainly states i can say whatever i want.

This opens the window to other countries to ban any game that depicts them as a bad guy. And as of late, Russia will have a lot to ban.

Oh America, you never fail to make the world shake its head in amusement*. Way to oppress your own people with you claim to be at war for in another country.

*and by "amusement" I mean "disgust."

The military doesn't forbid you from being gay, as that's quite impossible. You just can't be open about it, which is still pretty bad.

The people in charge of this "Dont ask, don't tell" policy really should read up on the Sacred Band of Thebes.

As for other countries suddenly going on banning sprees, I wouldn't be surprised if Russia has banned such games from their military establishment.

There's a lot of things on bases. I remember eating at a Subway on Wright-Patterson AFB.

You have to think about PTSD going off on people who aren't purchasing the game, but just walking into the barracks and seeing terrorist kill their fellow brothers in arms. I think it might not set well, and might begin an heated discussion on a base, especially a base deep in Afghanistan. This would be horrible for morale and those troops don't need to live in the "Jersey Shore" house as well as getting shot at everyday. Even though these people are grown adults, sometimes its better to be safe than sorry, especially in those situations.

Every time I believe that people in my country couldn't possibly become any stupider than they already are, someone goes and makes a decision like this and completely proves me wrong.

I guess i don't understand the big deal here?
I mean you have been able to play as a
Nazi,Russian, viet cong, and chinese soldier in other games and kill Americans

what is the big deal in this game?

Is it because the war is ongoing?

military bases are somewhat like small towns. Some are better than others, but most have grocery stores, schools, and even malls. dont forget there are families living on military bases as well so it shouldnt be too surprising there are video game stores.
