I think Uncharted 2 deserved it. Everything about that game oozed polish and the gameplay was fantastic.
It's strange how Borderlands was left out on many nominations...

While Uncharted 2 is very good. I didn't think it deserved Game of the Year. But this is Spike so yeah.
Well, better it be Uncharted than MW2 I guess. Personally I think borderlands should have got it. I've only played it once but knowing how much shit it has in it it definitely seems like the best choice. If it weren't so close to the holiday season I would've no doubt bought it by now but, ya know, why buy what you can get for free, amiright?

Ya but BEST is all about opinion. You could think Scrable is the game of the year. It makes no sense and you'll be marked as a moron but it's an opinion.
