Unforgivable Gaming Sins

I think Bioshock 2 is better than the first (even if it lacks Andrew Ryan), and the same for L4D2, only more so. I think CoD4 is a brilliant game. There. I'm going straight to hell now.

How are those gaming sins? Im considering that to be more of the usual opinion. Maybe except for the Bioshock 2 part. L4d2 featured more and was executed well, only less addictive because it was not as "new" as l4d when it came out. CoD4 was a HUGE leap in the CoD series, I thought it was an amazing game. The first and awesome Modern Warfare in the CoD series.

Mine would be buying Alpha Protocol.

I've so far enjoyed the first 15 hours of FFXIII
Can't stand Gears of War
(way to make myself sound like a ps3 fanboy >.> to counteract this idea, I shall state I enjoyed Fable 2)

And as many seem to have said, I didn't enjoy GTA4... then Saints Row 2 came along and I fell in love... but alas, he is Yahtzee's. (hehe, spell check tried to turn Yahtzee to Chimpanzee )

My sins revolve around not liking the "BEST GAEMS EVA" (The more popular, standardised games)

I don't enjoy Halo 3. Or MW2. Or Boarderlands. Or Fallout 3. Or Gears of War. Or Killzone. Or Bioshock
Actually, all the games my friends like.

I wouldn't mind in the slightest if they disappeared from the face of the Earth.

Instead I like certain, seemingly random games:
Final Fantasy
Resident Evil
LittleBigPlanet
Kingdom Hearts
inFamous
Left 4 Dead, etc

i hate nearly every jrpg.

i think final fantasy 9 was the only good one.

i think the half life series is way too over rated and is really just a samey shooter.

fucking hated okami and shadow of the colossus.

i loved the force unleashed.

i haven't played a nintendo game for roughly 6 years.

Really i could go on all day about all the things "the community" adores that i don't.

I hate turn-based combat (although I'm not an RPG fan). I find it incredibly pointless.

I like Quick-Time events.

I loved Doom 3 and its darkness/flashlight useage.

EDIT: I also gave up on Grand Theft Auto after San Andreas because it was all pretty much the same thing with different wallpaper.

Thing I consider Gaming Sins

- Camping then gloating about having good stats afterwards
- Consoletards, by that I don't mean your average guy who plays on a console (I own one since all my mates do) I mean someone who falls under one of the following groups

1) Has the 8 year old idea of 'pro-gamer' ergo calls themself 'XxXxD0M1I7AT0RXxXx' or 'ii PSYCOTiiXxxxxxxxxxxxx Nosc0pexxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx' basically anything with far too many small i's, X's, 1337 5p34k, e-peen stroking (x1x1x iiPwn x1x1x) faddy names (Optiiczzzz etc)just look at the CSS leaderboards or the Warcraft 3 finals, no amazing gamer has these kind of names because it makes you look like some dumb 8 year old. I don't even know where these fads come from, they seem to be exclusive to the Xbox 360 only and on top of that only seem to be used by Modern Warfail 2 players (e.g. young kids with no taste or idea of skill) which puzzles me even more since that game is horribly inbalanced with no semblance of skill and no dedi servers (Rofl).

They also have never played any games before the latest Call Of Duty games, of which many have been poor (1,2,4 are good, 3,5,6 terrible) and go on about dropshotting and quickscoping as if it's an awesome new thing so Pr0 it's unbelievable even though 'dropshotting' has been around since Battlefield and was considered retarded but necessary (dolphin diving) and quickscoping is purely retarded seeing as it is just not looking through your scope until you are about to shoot and would have no special mention in a non-retarded FPS. There's also an obsession with dumb crap like noscoping which is just random chance.

2) People who insist retarded things, like console games are better than PC or consoles are more powerful than PC's or more popular. (E.g. retarded opinions that are assumed as fact, for example a common one is 'The average PC is not powerful enough to run the latest games' this is used because said person has a terrible PC and assumes everyone does, even though PC's vastly outnumber consoles and the average PC is far better than a PS3/360

- The Wii

- Spawnraping

- Cannon glitchers on Empire Total War

- Hacking

- Activision

- Shotguns

I hate Half Life, Halo, GTA4, Borderlands and the Fallouts before Fallout 3.

I play WoW and I love it. After giving it up for 3 years, I gave in, got it again and I'm hopelessly addicted again.

I prefer playing most games, including FPS games, on consoles.

In fact, I flat out dislike pretty much every PC game. WoW is the only one I tolerate.

I don't like Zelda.

I've never played a Mario game.

I love playing The Sims.

I have never completed a game on any mode higher than "Normal/Medium".

I enjoy playing the Wii. fuck, i am so going to hell for that one.
