I have almsot beaten AC2 and never beaten AC1.
Can't blame you for that, the later missions of AC1 are freakin' annoying.
Actually I never even got that far. The real reason is that my Xbox crapped out on me half-way through AC1 and by the time I fixed it I had to give AC1 back to the friend I borrowed it from. Then I got AC2 for xmas.

It almost seems as if it's a sin to dislike the Half Life series.

If that's the case, then let the power of Christ compel me. I hated the Half Life series.....
Like wise.

OT: as far as actual game mecahnics go, having an unreliable lock on system is unaceptable.
For being a gamer, im one of those hardcore-ish people who view natal and move (Its natal because im a grammer nazi and Kinect is spelled wrong.) as impure.
It's not spelt wrong though. It's meant to be like that because it's a conjunction of 'Kinetic' and 'Connect', so it makes 'Kinect.

I actually bought Bayonetta because someone said the story was good and I wanted a a good hack and slash (and shooting) adventure game. Not because she can't keep her cloths on

Hated Halo, dislike any FF game, and used to game on the Mac.
I game on a Mac...only because I like Mac Laptops and got one for college. I tired to play games on my PC, but none of my PC's could handle TF2 and my Mac handles it beautifully. I wish I had a gaming PC though... :'(

I didn't like Half Life 2. And I hated Portal.

The former was a pretty boring, basic FPS with lots of annoying enemies, and real pisstake vehicle/puzzle sections. The latter was a puzzle game. I do not like puzzle games.

I only played Half Life (2) for about an hour before saying F*ck it and giving it back to my friend. The only "mainstream" games I like are Bioware *bows before Bioware before continuing), and last, but certainly not least Halo should die a very slow and painful death.
That got all of my petty dislikes? Probably not.

I thought GTA IV was only mildly good and consider Saint's Row 2 the real GTAIV. 3 and its children were good though
Oh and the only thing I like about Mass Effect is Garrus and Wrex.

I love Halo 3/ODST and MW2, and I even bought all the map packs for both. Take that internet elitism!

I also have a growing bias against all things JRPG. I used to like them, honest, but now I just can't consider any of them even remotely playable. That's really because of the grinding (how can people enjoy this? HOW!?) and generally annoying/cliche characters (Oh, the comedic relief character has a deep possibly dark secret? What a surprise). And yes, I've played most of the FF games, Persona 3, which people seem to treat as holy, and even a couple Tales games. Didn't beat any of them, but I also gave every one a fair chance, and admittedly more hours of my life than they deserved.

No I understood, I just felt like sharing a related anecdote.

Was it bad to game on a mac in 1995? I thought most games were played on Macs over PC's back then? I always thought Mac gaming was more of a sin now.

I find Okami to be superior to almost all Legend of Zelda games and I cheated my way through Persona 3 and Final Fantasy X and It made the games more enjoyable.

You know that thing you don't like about Zelda games?
You know, that thing?
Yeah, I like that, I can guarantee you.
[small]Except the treasure hunt in the later parts of wind waker. What a load of bollocks.[/small]

I hate GTA games.
Never played a Zelda game (save 5 hours of Twilight Princess).
I hate Bethesda games with a passion.
I don't mind casual games (Peggle etc.).
My first console JRPG was FFXIII, subsequently bought FFI and FFII for iPod touch.
Mario Kart is meh.
Never played any MGS games (or any of the Playstation classics- including Ico/SotC).
I get each new generation of Pokémon and love them.
Never played a horror game, except Bioshock (does that count?), which means no Resident Evil or Silent Hill.
For me, the importance of game features are as follows; Gameplay> Narrative (not just story, the focus as well)> Graphics> Sound.
I consider the Fable games to be excellent.

I found Two Worlds to be a great game with a good story.

I hated Fallout 3

Apparently, hating GTA IV is a normal thing but damn I love that game! Could a few of the people who hate it please explain the hatred. I Thought it was absolutely amazing.
