Rhodes looked happily at Alex "Bat!!! ZuzuzuzuuuuBAT!" Cecily looked entertained at Rojo's attempts and was trying to teach it.

Alex looked sadly at Rhodes "At least you like me." Rhodes nodded and bit him. "Owww! Wait! We can go a lot deeper now that we have a guide!" Rhodes flew off his arm and headed towards a light glowing in the distance.

Rojo still couldnt get it right and just shook her head while she went back to Matt, on the way looking down one of the holes only to have a Diglett pop up and knock her back. The pokemon only looked around for a few seconds before just as suddenly dissapearing back down, and then popping up in another hole a few feet away. Rojo ran up to it to look at it again but it popped back down and back up at another hole further ahead, which Rojo followed to.
Matt just smiled at this and started following Rhodes out of the cave, there were even a few Sandshrews wandering about towards the walls, and they ran back inside the holes when he passed. This is going better than it started... atleast there arent any more rats or bats around here he thought to himself

Gereld glared around the cave and it's many docile critters and Muttered "If I come here again, it'll only be to kill all those goddamn bats." Cindy, meanwhile, was, following Rhodes closely, wanting to get out of this cave of evil, as she thought of it, as soon as possible.

Chell followed Rhodes, but from a distance, she couldn't stand Zubats.
"Munch Mun Mun Lax Mun Ch" said Steve pointing to Chells backpack.
"No, Steve it isn't snack time. wait till we get out of this cave and into town." she said
"So boys what are we gonna do when we get to town anyway?" she inquired of her friends

Rhodes hung upside down in front of the cave entrance and pointed out of the cave. "Batbatbatbat! Zuuuubatabatatat!" Rhodes flew back to Alex and nipped his neck. It didn't hurt this time as Rhodes wasn't trying to break skin. In fact it kind of tickled. "Hey! That tickles!" Alex laughed. Rhodes looked carefully at Chell and slowly reached out his wing as if to say a shy hello. "Bat?"
"Why don't we challenge the Gym? Seems like a good enough idea..."

"eeekkkkk!!!" screamed Chell as the horrid beast attempt to attack her. "Steve, Make it go away." she begged

Steve really didn't see the big deal, sure ZUbat were annoying in general, but this was Alex's plus he did sorta lead them out.
"Munch mun" he said with a shrug as he grabbed Chell's arm and forced her to say hi.

"Steve let me go I'm not joking." she said as the Munchlax placed her arm out for Rhodes.
"MUNCHLAX MUN LA CH!" he shouted sternly Make friends or else

"BAAAT!" Rhodes's wing touched Chell's hand gently. Alex turned to see this. "Awww, Rhodes, you're such a sweetie!"
The zubat flew down and climbed on Steve's back. Careful to not harm him, he gestured with his wing. "ZuuuBat!" That way to the exit, friends!

"Well then, this is the way out" Matt said as he stepped outside, he winced and quickly covered his eyes with his arm to block the harsh change in light, and after a second he was able to see they were now in a field, the cave they left behind was set into a large hill. Matt looked confused for a second and reached into his backpack to take out the map and see if he could find anything on it about where they were.
He looked up momentarily to see an actual Eevee walking around in a clearing ahead "oh... hello you" he said quietly, sizing it up...

"Holy shit! A wild Eevee?!" He reached for his pokeballs but stopped. "Naah, you aren't my style."
He smiled vaguely at Matt. "Rhodes, make sure it can't escape."
He looked over at Matt. "Go for it."
Rhodes flew in a long arc around it so as to not startle it. He seemed to be pretty unfazed by the sunlight.

Name: Lily Dremia
Age: 15
Appearance: 5' 7" 120 lbs. Light brown eyes, so light that they're almost golden, and hair to match. Lithe and muscular, she keeps herself fit in order to both defend herself and improve her self-image. Wears... er... This thing here:

Hometown: Blackthorn City
Bio: She grew up as any child does, with a family. Her parents cared greatly for her, and they are the ones responsible for her obsession with staying fit. They pushed her to succeed in all areas, so she took summer courses in school and graduated high school at 14. She was not gifted, she just worked hard to get where she wanted to go.
However content her life seemed to be, trouble struck her soon after her graduation, when her grandparents on her father's side came to Blackthorn. Lily was conceived out of wedlock, as her grandparents did not allow her parents to marry due to class differences. Her parents, still unmarried but very much in love, were forced to send away the representation of their forbidden love. Sending her off with a tidy sum of money and some personal care products, they wept for days. They still kept in contact in secret, and it was enough for Lily.

Around her 15th birthday, Lily's grandparents took her father to Unova to rejoin the family. Her mother was left barely able to support herself, so Lily sent back most of her money. She then promised her mother to win the Indigo Plateu League Challenge so they can have enough money to reunite their family.

To Lily, Pokemon are tools she must use to complete her goal. Now she does not mistreat or hate them, she just sees no point in treating them as people when they are just animals.

Lily made her way to New Bark Town to get her first Pokemon from the renowned Professor Elm. However, she was turned away by police who were cleaning up after the massacre. Both horrified by the slaughter and indignant at the roadblock in the way of her path, she headed off the closest city, Violet, to hopefully find both a Pokemon and her first badge.

Lily crouched down low in the grass, squinting her eyes in annoyance.

"I know I saw it around here somewhere... Heeeeeere foxy, foxy foxy! Here, boy!" She called out to the brush in front of her. She had been hanging outside of Violet City for a good hour now, hunting after a certain Pokemon. An elusive, brown, fox-like Pokemon that was, according to the citizens of the town, both very rare and very powerful. It was a stroke of pure luck that Lily had arrived when it had been spotted outside of the city. With her sole Pokeball gripped tightly in her left hand, she skulked around the tall grass, searching desperately for it among purple mice, sphere-like owls, and large green spiders.

After what seemed like an eternity had passed, she finally saw a furry brown tail poking up from the ground. 'At last!' she thought. 'You're mine, fox!' She slowly approached it from behind, and, when she was close enough, leapt from the grass on top of her prey. The two rolled in the grass, kicking, scratching, punching, and biting one another in a vicious struggle.

Rhodes was startled by the sudden movement in his sonar. Another figure had suddenly appeared. He chittered and flew over to see what was going on.

Alex heard a commotion and ran over to see what had happened. He saw a girl wrestling with the Eevee. "Use the pokeball!" He shouted to her.

Matt stared, dumfounded, at the girl suddenly coming in and poaching his catch. "What" he said flatly as he watched the display. "Atleast use a pokeball on it!" He yelled, not wanting her to waste a chance like this.

The Eevee was struggling for all it's worth, scratching and nipping as much as it could, but the girl was too much for it, and it was pinned with no hope of escape.

Lily managed to throw the fox from her, and hopped to her feet. The fox struggled to stand up and winced in pain as he tried to put his front right paw on the ground. He growled angrily at Lily, wile swaying back and forth.

Sizing up her opponent, Lily knew that he was weak. She decided to take the advice of the stranger in the clearing, and tossed her Pokeball high in the air. She jumped up and spiked it like a volleyball into the poor creature. The ball opened and sucked the fox inside of it. Lily watched closely as the ball wobbled back and forth, before a reassuring click was heard.

Lily stared at the ball for another half of a minute before looking up, confused, and asking the strangers, "Do I win?"

"Suffering Sappho, the Eevee is being attack by a wild Teenage Girl. Quick Eevee weaken her and capture her in a peopleball!" shouted Chell in a better mood after Steve forced her to make friends with Rhodes.

Gereld watched the two figures, the Eevee and a girl who had seemingly appeared from nowhere, wrestling with eachother, the girl, obviously trying to catch the Eevee, had a pokeball in her hand. Cindy, seeing she had time to rest for a bit, went about fixing her fur, trying to get as much dirt out as possible.

Alex sat on the ground Rhodes landed on his back and started wing pawing at the other members of team. "Batbatbat! ZuBat!"
"Congrats, lil' lady, you obviously just caught your first pokemon." Rhodes gave her a grin. "I'm Alex. This is Cecily." He indicated to the Totodile sitting quietly behind him " and this is Rhodes." He guestured to the Zubat clinging to his shoulder. Rhodes wing pawed at the new girl.

"Aww the Girl caught the Eevee I wanted to see the Eevee win. I'm Chell by the way and this is Steve" she said as Steve went to the girl to shake her hand. "So you have a name or something?"

Lily picked up the ball, smiled at the group, thanked them eagerly for their help, and ran off toward the Violet City Pokemon Center, completely ignoring the boy's attempt to strike up a conversation.

"Where are you going?!?" the one who styled himself Alex called after her.

"The Pokemon Gym!" she shouted back cheerfully, "I gonna beat the leader and win myself a badge!"

Watching the little run off, Gereld began to feel nervous. It had sounded good on paper, doing this pokemon battling, but now that they were getting so close to a gym leader, he felt nervous about his lack of expirence. Me and Cindy haven't even had our first proper pokemon battle yet. He thought, picking up Cindy for comfort. Cindy, who was still busy grooming herself, didn't even notice.

Matt didnt know what to say as Lily marched off to her destination, and then looked back down to his map. Indeed, they were right by Violet City. "Alright, we're moving on to Violet as well, let's get going" he said as they started following after her.

Shortly, they reached their first sign of buildings, a few traditional style houses but as they moved further in they found a main road, and things started to become more modern, which concrete and stone buildings starting to appear along side the older ones, before aparently winning out completely. It seems that the city has started to advance along with the times, trying to become more modern. There were a few stores here and there offering various home-made products. There was plenty of people outside seeming to be going about daily business. The entire city seemed to be a blend of the traditional town of old, and now it seemed to be changing itself into a more modern state. And looming above it all, though far to the back and seemingly forgotten, was the now dilapidated Sprout Tower.
As they kept walking the group found themselves before the usual Poke-Center and Trainer specialized stores next to eachother, open and ready for visitors.
