Pinsir staggered back, visibly drowsy. "Come on, Pinsir! Rock tomb again!" The pinsir leaped forward once more and smashed its fist into the ground right under Puck, but it didn't have the same impact as before and the rocks smashed together right under where Puck floated.
Puck rolled up into the air, chuckling to itself as the Rock Tomb failed to even touch him this time. "All right Puck, get yourself together and go in for a Lick!" Darrel commanded. Puck nodded to acknowledge it heard him, and almost fell out of the air, the Gastly's long tongue arcing towards the Pinsir.
Puck's tongue made impact with Pinsir's hard shell and made it step back only to have one of its eyes twitch incredible violently.
"PIIIIINSSSSSIIIIIRRRRR!!!!!" It charged infuriated at the ball of gas heedless of Bugsy's orders. Puck easily dodged only to turn in to see that pinsir's intended target. Instead it had clamped its horns around a tree and proceeded to rip the tree out of the ground. Bugsy grinned "Pinsir! Siesmic toss!" It flung the tree violently at its target.

Puck was stunned by the sudden attack from the Pinsir, and was only able to close its eyes and quiver as the tree approached... but found that it was unaffected, and the tree phased through it. Puck opened a single eye, and broke out into a guffaw as Darrel shouted to Bugsy "Fighting moves don't work on Puck, remember? All right, let's go for another Hypnosis!"

Gereld, who had returned Joey to his ball, was walking down the street of Azealea when he came across a clothes store. Looking at it made Gereld realize just how dirty the clothes he was wearing were, but he could also see that the store he had stopped in front of was far to expensive, so he contiued until he found a thrift store selling cheaper cloths out of a bin.
Eric loitered around the door of the gym, waiting for it to be unlocked.
"We are soo ready for this, aren't we Dash?" he asked the Growlithe below him, who was pacing along the edge of the door.
Dash growled quietly, eager to show everyone his power. They'll learn to respect Dash, the strongest Pokemon of them all! ...Dash then began to wonder what kind of berries they'd be serving at the Pokecenter after the battle.

Lily easily moved towards the scared and angry boy, and draped an arm over his shoulders. He refused to look at her, but she looked softly upon him, regardless. "Sid," she whispered, barely audible. "You can tell me what's wrong. You can trust me. I'm here for you... And I'm not leaving, no matter what." The image of Sid's bloody body falling to the ground, trying futilely to protect her. She vowed to never let that image become a reality. "I will protect you and support you no matter what. Ok?" as she continued watching Sid, she saw salty tears drop from his eyes and fall to the dry soil beneath them. "It's gonna be ok. Really. I'll make sure of that." She hugged him close to her, not letting go until he pushed away lightly.
Sid finally made eye contact with Lily. The two stared back and forth for a moment before he began about how the trainers at the Pokemon Center had treated him. Fire filled Lily's eyes with every word that she heard. 'Those insensitive monsters... He's a child! What right do they have? I'll teach them... They'll never do that again. Ever.'
Lily was about to start back to the Center when she realized that it would have to wait. An all out assault on other trainers could get her thrown out of town, and she needed Bugsy's Gym Badge first.
While she was pondering, Sid looked at the foliage covered sign and read aloud, "Kurt's Pokeballs..." confused, he turned to his elder and asked, "Lily, who's Kurt?"
Gereld walked out of the store, wearing faded but otherwise decent jeans and a simple brown long-sleve shirt. Turning toward the gym,which was somewhat close, Gereld noticed that Eric was just standing outside the gym. Which means the gym must be locked. Gereld reasoned. Still, even being fairly confident that the gym was locked, Gereld walked over and quietly joined eric in waiting.
Eric nodded when he saw Gerald approach but didn't say anything.
I figured he'd be coming here sooner or later.
Closing his eyes, he resumed going over battle plans in his head.

Pinsir was hit dead on in the eyes by hypnosis. It screamed in rage before falling back asleep. Bugsy held out pinsir's pokeball and returned it. "Pinsir, Return! Good match. Now who's next!"
Gereld walked into the now unlocked gym, marveling at how different this gym was to Falkner's. Coming back to what was going to happen right now, he squeked out" I-I'll go next, if no one minds." Am I always going to be nervous when a gym battle comes around? Gereld thought as his face flushed and he grinned sheepishly.
Eric snapped back into awareness. The door just shut as he turned to look at Gerald, who had entered the gym.
Dammit, now you have to wait again!

"Don't worry about it buddy, I'll make sure we're next this time! In the meanwhile, I think I'll let everyone else and we can rehearse our evasion training!"

Gereld looked at the bug Pokemon and as was reaching for Cindy's ball, his obvious first choice, a reckless thought took hold of his mind and his hand shifted over a few centimetres. Grabbing it without even puasing to reconsider, he Stated, quite plainly" I'll be using Bubba."
Appearing forth from his pokeball, Bubba began hovering, waiting for an order.
"Tackle!" Cried Gereld suddenly, hoping Bubba might get in the first blow.

Bugsy was a little slow to react "Alright then. Mise, use attract." The firefly took the tackle head on and was recoiled a little. The firefly then turned a little looking coyly over her shoulder at Bubba and made a kissing motion. The action sent out a barrage of heart shaped bubbles at Bubba. "Illuuumise~"
Bubba took the Attract straight to the face and Gereld watched, in some strange combination of horror and amusment, as Bubba tried wooing the Illumise by trying pick a boquet of flowers for her. Snapping back t attention, Gereld Exclaimed" Bubba, Try Supersonic!", but Bubba didn't even try to follow the command, still going around trying to find enough flowers for a suitable boquet.
The Illumise accepted the flowers and gave him a kiss on the cheek only to have Bubba point-blank her with supersonic. She wobbled back stumbling uncoordinatedly around. "Mimimimise!!!"
Well that was a little...delayed. Thought Gereld, caling " Bubba, use Comet punch!" Not greatly surpised that Bubba jut ignored him nd rolled around, giggling like a moron, his nearest hand kept going back to touch where the Illumise had kissed him.
Bugsy frowned. "Mise! Quick Attack." The firefly patted herself on the cheek and took off at high speeds at Bubba, only to miss and crash into the ground next to him. "Miiise!" The firefly was clearly irate at being rather incompetant and one-upped by this moronic Ledyba.
