Uprising - A Pokemon RP

Alex gasped and stood back up to help anyone who needed help. He nodded to the new kid with the Corphish and Cubone but continued to help the others with their medical needs. He noted a Eric's movements seemed a bit pained so he moved over to help him. He turned to Lily "Are you ok?" He noted her blood soaked arm. "Do you need any bandages?"

Eric didn't know what to say. The nurse was giving her Chansey hurried orders as a stretcher was brought by some townspeople. They rushed with the dog to the damaged Pokemon center for surgery, Sid following closely. Eric followed slowly, trying not to exert himself too much.

"What happened to you?" asked Alex, who was walking along with him. Lily had run ahead to stay with Sid.

"That Houndoom got on me, I was shot, beaten up... Yeah."

Maybe they have some more asprin in the center, dammit!

"I'm a lot better than I outta be..."

Eric wiped the tears out his eyes.

"What about you? I lost track of pretty much everything when the fighting started."

"Pooch... he's..." Sid mumbled, "He's..."

Sid looked at Lily. He could tell he looked like hell and he didn't care. He ran to her and held her arm to his chest and began crying like the child he pretended not to be.

"He's hurt real bad!" He cried into her arm, "I don't wanna lose him... he's my b-best friend!"

Gereld stopped for a moment after helping a nurse lift a person with several large bite wounds on their body up on a stretcher and as he looked around the damaged town, he realized something that made him nearly drop to the ground and cry.

This is our fault. He thought, revulsion filling him up at the thought. We saw the bastards a day before, and we didn't say anything! All we cared about was that damn gym. That was as far as his thoughts got, however, as another nurse gestured for Gereld to come and help her with an unconscious Parasect that was bleeding profussly onto another stretcher for transport.

"Physically I'm fine..." Alex paused a little. His glasses flashed softly. "Mentally... I want to die... I really shouldn't have been so... Trusting." Rhodes chittered and fluttered around Eric and Alex. "Sorry. I shouldn't be such a whiner."

The words stuck in his throat.

Live up to it, you have to tell someone. YOU'LL GO CRAZY IF YOU KEEP IT INSIDE DAMMIT!

He could still feel the pistol in his pocket. It was like a talisman of death. If he surrendered it to the authorities, would he go to prison?

It doesn't matter that it was just a Rocket... He was a living, breathing man and I tore away everything that...

Eric fell down onto his knee, dizzy with revulsion. Disgusting... He didn't feel like living.

Alex gave Eric's shoulder a very light squeeze "Its alright. Whatever you did... It wasn't you're fault."

Bugsy sighed and headed towards the groups of trainers, most of them he had fought earlier. He walked up close and spoke quietly. "Listen... I know these probably won't mean much to you but I'd like you to have these." He held out a case which he opened up. It contained enough badges for everyone. He lowered his head. "I mean it. Thank you."

"I... I..." Eric stuttered, trying to make the words come out.

How can it not be my fault?!?

He was saved by Bugsy's appearence. He was carrying a case and looked at Eric.

"Eric was it? I remember what you did..."

He was holding out a badge that kind of looked like a ladybug. "You've earned it."

Dash barked angrily. It was obvious he wanted to fight the leader again.

"Sorry, but I'd rather earn it in a rematch."

If the others can beat you, I know I can!

Lily stared slackjawed at the offer made by Bugsy. She wanted the badge, more than anything, and there it was sitting in front of her. She reached out to take it.

However, something inside stopped her. She knew, deep down, that she hadn't earned the badge, she just did something she wanted to do for a while, hit Chell in the face. Deep down, Lily knew that she wouldn't be satisfied with herself until she had won, fair and square, against Bugsy.

She echoed Eric. "I'd rather earn it in a rematch, Bugsy. My Pokemon weren't ready for you. So I'll train, and be back someday. And when I get back..." She looked at his sleek, red, metallic Pokemon. "I wanna fight that one." She smiled and dropped her hand to her side.

Bugsy gave a mild grin to both of them. "I'll be looking forward to the rematch. But until then keep the badge as a my thanks and missy... Vulcan chooses who he fights not me." He turned back and left the pokemon center looking for the others.

Smiling at Bugsy, and thoroughly done with Azalea Town, Lily thought it would be best to depart. She left Sid for a moment as he watched closely over his Pokemon, as she made her way to the Pokemon Center, where the countless wounded were resting and recuperating. She felt horrible and wanted to help Sid, but she didn't understand why a Pokemon had him in such a frenzy. It was only a Pokemon, wasn't it?

Inside, Lily went up to the unmanned front desk, (for every worker was busy helping an injured person) to grab her Pokeballs. Unfortunately for her, her eyes were greeted with rows of red and white balls. Unknowing which was hers, she annoyedly waited for a nurse to help her out.

Darrel stared down at the case of badges. He hesitated for a moment, but he took it and placed it inside a brass case he had purchased. The badge he had received from Falkner was pinned up in the first spot, and now Bugsy's was next to it. He tried to force a grin, but all he could manage was a small, toothless smile. "Thanks." he said, nodding. "I'd rather not take it, in a situation like this; but I'm gonna need it soon, I think."

He turned away and made for the Pokemon Center, where he waded through the crowds to the desk and dropped off Puck and Spike's balls. He started to walk away, only to see Lily there. "Don't you think you should be with the kid right now? Probably could'a used a little support."

Eric went over to Sid, who was talking to a nurse by the door of the center. He could see the nurse was trying to reassure him but it wasn't working.

"Sid... Why... Why don't we go for a walk? There isn't anything else we can do here..."

The line up is too busy for me to go yet anyway... Sid needs a moment away from this crazy scene. Am I doing the right thing?

Eric nodded to the nurse as she ran back into the center to tend to more injured townsfolk.

"Eric's with Sid right now, so I don't think she has to worry Darrel." Said Gereld, who had wanted to see if Cindy and Bubba, who he had dropped off earlier were okay. But judging from the massive amount of injured pokemon and people here, I'd say they probably haven't been treated yet. biting his lip, Gereld stood where he was even though he wanted to complely break down, which was made all the harder by the sheer amount of injured people and pokemon in the Center.

Mr.Claus walked up to Gereld and started hugging his leg 'he dents to be able to sense when someone needs someone to cheer them up' bob said 'corpish' said Mr.Claus as he nodded in agreement 'so what is your story?' bob asked Gereld.

Inspite of everything that had happened Gereld gave a small smile at Mr.Claus. "Do you mean how I got here, or why this little guy thinks I'm sad, or both? " Gereld asked as he knelt down and patted the Corphish.

Jason sighed and went to sit down on one of the many larger rocks situated around Azalea Town. Bagon, Sandshrew, and Weedle sat down beside the rock, surveying the land and the small craters left by Pokemon attacks. Weedle crawled up one of the many trees while Bagon and Sandshrew sat by their trainer.

To have Chell just desert like that... I don't know what to think, can I really trust any of these people?... No, I can't think like that, I need to believe at least for the time that everyone here can back me up.

Alex boredly leaned against the wall. He was heart broken that Chell had betrayed him in such a way but he had gotten over it astoundingly fast. He watched Horus bound around crackling with electricity while Rhodes and Cecily stayed close to him. Nina too had sat down next to him and he smiled. "We'll all be good friends." He got up and walked over to sit by Jason. As he approached he gave a weak smile "Hey."
