We don't need to insult or belittle someone just becuase they see the world in a diffrent light.

In the end no matter what happend in the end these fight don't do anything but waist time and spread hate.
That's not the only reason to do it.

Ireland:
Contraceptives made legal in the 70's (wouldn't be readily available until the 90's).
Homosexuality made legal in the 80's.
Divorce made legal in the 90's.
Abortion is still illegal, but it wasn't until the 90's that people could legally leave the country to get one or doctors could even legally give information about them.
I know what you're thinking, "Well that's all in the past". Yeah but check out our constitution:

Preamble:

In the Name of the Most Holy Trinity, from Whom
is all authority and to Whom, as our final end, all
actions both of men and States must be referred,
We, the people of Éire,
Humbly acknowledging all our obligations to our
Divine Lord, Jesus Christ, Who sustained our
fathers through centuries of trial

"The publication or utterance of
blasphemous, seditious, or indecent matter
is an offence which shall be punishable in
accordance with law. "
About two years ago they introduced a fine of 25000.

Luckily Ireland is becoming less and less Catholic.
That an ecuse people say Muslims are evil and caused war. Should all Muslims be kicked out of every country.

People will always use some reason or another to force thier wills on another. Go watch the south park view where everyone is an Athist. That pretty much how it is. Just remember racist think that have a good reason to hate someone. Everyone has thier reason to hate but in the end hate is just that hate. All it does it make everyone worst and this world alittle darker and harder to live in.

Did I say all Catholics are bad? No I did not, the point I made was that the church had a strangle hold on this country. Do I think all catholics should be kicked out of Ireland? No, and I never said they should. The reason I'll argue against religion is their bullshit superstitions are effecting my life and limiting my freedom. I nevr said I hate catholics, I hate catholicism, there's a difference.
I think we have a failure to communicate. If it effects you then by all means fight. I'm talking if you go on a message board for a religon and start calling people fools. If you have something shoved down your throat then by all means fight. Heck I'll stand with you but if a church buys the land thier not kicking anyone out would you ban then from building a church.

That what I'm talking about.

I dislike these bloomer-like pants that women have started wearing. They don't look very stylish or attractive, i'm not quite sure what the point of them is, they basically looks like they're wearing a pair of silken curtains, it just looks silly.

Also Bronies. I mean the whole fad was easily enough to tolerate because i assumed it will all be over in a couple of months, but it hasn't, and it keeps on going on, and on and on. And all the while certain Escapists are still keeping this tiring and depressing charade about evangelising MLP. Look, i couldn't give a toss about your children's cartoon, so stop reminding me off it's existence.

On a related point, Otaku's. Or, more particular, anime fans who seem to like anime simply because it's anime, rather than judging the individual cartoon by it's own merits. I've gone to friends houses and we'll watch anime there and i've ended up sitting through animes which were blatantly aimed at children. The protagonists were in high-school, it's themes are full off teenage-related angst and issues, i just couldn't get why we couldn't watch some perfectly good anime that was more adult orientated, like Black Lagoon or Ergo Proxy for instance. After all, the people I was sat with were all fast approaching twenty years old, that's the kind of stuff we should be watching as reasonable adults! If i were five years younger then yeah this stuff would have been good because i was an actual teenager back then. I can't decide if wherever adult anime fans who watch teenage-anime are so in love with all things Japanese they don't even realise this anime is not aimed at them, or wherever they are trying to fill some sort of psychological void that exists in their minds because they didn't actually grow up in Japan in the first place.

And why on earth is rap, hip-hop and R&B so bloody popular? I don't like it, simple as, so i avoid it. Then i'm watching the news or a documentary and all of a sudden there's some rapper articulating his views on urban poverty. They're like Bronies, you can't get away from them even if you tried. >.<

I also don't like video-games which over-sexualise female characters. When i play my video games, i don't want to feel like some sort of pervert, i want to have some fun. I also hate it when adverts (for anything) feature scantly clad women just to get men's attention. Feels like i'm being used... Also, i hate adverts in general, and i also hate how Sky TV now has a tendency to air adverts across channels at the same time, so i can't simply flick to another channel when the ad break comes on.

What girl does that? I'd outcast her in an instant if I found out about that. And being bisexual isn't attractive, it just makes things awkward.

I also hate the gay pride, the weed pride protests. I want weed to be illegal, and for homosexuality to be a dont-ask-dont-tell policy nationwide just because of all the morons advocating for the opposite.

As for the latter, you'd deny a basic civil right out of spite?
While I cant answer for the poster, I can perhaps understand his point of view. There's nothing wrong with homosexuality, but isn't it about time (if you'll excuse the expression) they stopped ramming it down everyones throats. Hasn't acceptance of homosexuality reached a point where it's going to be pretty much as acceptable as its going to get?
Is a gay marriage recognized as a marriage by the federal government? No. Is homophobic bullying still taking place in our schools? Yes. Are homosexual men still targeted by homophobic people and religious groups? Yes. Then no, it isn't as acceptable as it is going to get. We still have a long way to go and we shouldn't settle for good enough.

People wearing Guy Fawkes masks at protests, particularly at protests that have something to do with government.

The Guy (get it?), was a Catholic fundamentalist who was attempting to destroy parliament so that he could install an even more oppressive regime.

He wasn't a freedom fighter, he was the exact fucking opposite.

Also, the fact that groups like the Westboro Baptist Church still exist, and worse, are allowed to picket funerals and other events. Seriously, I'm not suggesting a cull or anything, but they could at least be banned from attending or something. If the manager of a McDonald's can decide who's allowed to enter his premises, surely something can be done to keep these mentalists away from people's private lives.
This, just this. Basically, their allowed to because trying to stop them is against the freedom of religion, which means their protected to do such things. Police can't stop them because of freedom of religion rule.

I am almost certain everytime I see one on television, they go into a tageint about how their better at music and we should only listen to them, also to where they talk about what guns they have or how low their pants hang.

I have a question for those in europe as I have never left the US, do you have to press a number on your phone to get your native language when calling a business?
/rant
Sorry but seriously? there is a fairly large portion of people in your country that speak a different language and you are surprised there are language options when you call a business? That's less political correctness and more smart business.
I never said I was surprised. And that wasnt the rant, the rant was about idiots not taking the time to spell a three letter word. Way to take that out of context though!

The question was simply a point of interest with so many varied languages in such a condensed area, and as I have never been out of my own country. God forbid I try to learn about how businesses in other nations operate..
My mistake didn't mean to leave the /rant part in there, however seeing as how prevalent that kind of view is in America and that it was sandwiched between two things you found irritating about society it was an easy mistake to make. Sorry bout that.

Spray-on deodorant, people are spraying it everywhere, it smells terrible and burns my eyes, I have to walk through a cloud of this crap all the freakin' time. What happened to normal deodorant that you put on in your house BEFORE you headed out.

Marriage shouldn't be the issue, the legal rights pertaining to a civil union should be (y'know, that little thing that gets SIGNED and is a LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT BETWEEN TWO PARTIES.)

Kids are always going to be bullied for the simple fact of BEING DIFFERENT. Of having different coloured hair, of being heavier, lighter, taller, shorter, liking boys, liking girls, liking neither.

And bigots will ALWAYS target those whom they believe weaker, whether due to immorality, not having been chosen, or whatever else they've jacked their weak minds up on.

Funny thing: You won't change it either. At least, not without wiping someone/something out...

Incidentally, Lord Inglip provides guidance: vel ginell.

Find Vel Ginell, wipe them out. Lord Inglip commands it.

People saying pickups, SUVs and 4x4s should require a special license to drive on urban/suburban roads and/or assuming they're deathtraps for everyone else because of the actions of some dumb-as-fuck morons who wouldn't be any safer in a small hatch.
They are not cars, you are NOT correctly licensed to drive one unless you hold at least an LR. At the very least, said dumb-fucks would be restricted from owning one. Surely you know what you're doing, so you wouldn't have anything to worry about, right?

Get over yourselves. I have every bit a right to drive my F150 into town as you do your sedan. Shut the fuck up already. If you want me to drive something else YOU pay for it, but don't be surprized if it sits in the driveway on jackstands getting suspension and engine mods done while I continue to putz around in the Ford that, coincidentally, isn't any physically larger than most modern American four doors.
So what you're saying is, America, land of the large, is supersizing sedans too? Good to know.

And what manner of engine/suspension mods? Higher set? Lower? Turbo? To what purpose?

Actually, to drag that out a bit in scope, I'll extend it to "People who think they know what's best for all of us." Sorry, you don't. You don't have any authority over whether or not Person Y drives a pickup, or Person T gets an abortion, or if Jane Doe buys a big mac every day. You have no valid basis on which to decide such matters for people who live hundres or thousands of miles from you. LIVE YOUR OWN FUCKING LIVES YOU GOD DAMNED MORONS! Stay the FUCK out of everyone else's!
Actually, being of demonstrably higher intelligence than most, yes, yes I do know what's best. Given two options, the overwhelming majority of people will choose what I affectionately call the "stupid" option. I don't want to come off as condescending (yet) but the popularity of religion is rather telling. Magic-men in the sky as an explanation? No different to "a wizard did it!"

Stop fighting progress and what is in the best interest of public safety.
And where's it end? You can use 'progress' and 'public safety' as a reason to stuff cameras in someone's car. And then into their living room.
Not quite. In public, there is no expectation of privacy - and the government is obliged to protect its citizens. Notice, in public. A public place, out in the open, where you will be viewed anyway. The difference is, some of the eyes are electronic instead of organic.

Being under constant surveillance doesn't make me any safer, and it certainly doesn't make me feel any safer.
Why not? Explain to me why it doesn't. I really want to know. Because when I'm walking around, say, Fortitude Valley, and there are cameras everywhere, I feel pretty safe. You know something else they're used for? Noticing folks who are in trouble. Like that guy, whom you're pretty sure is drunk, that just fell over. Whoops, turns out he was having a stroke. Guys behind the cameras dispatched an officer to take a look, who quickly call in an ambulance. End result, the guy can still walk and talk.

I'm suspecting it's more you have a distrust of authority in general, and simply see "progress" as their means of increasing their control, hmm?

Indeed bullying will always exist. No amount of gay pride marches is ever going to fix that.

Also homosexuality is considered a sin by most religions. Interesting how religion and morales collide when it comes to this particular topic. Whilst we're not talking exclusively about homosexuality here, the practice of buggery is considered filthy by lots of people that aren't religious but maintain a moral attitute, having morals doesn't make you homophobic.

Unlike being black or a woman, homosexuals can currently exist without anyone knowing of thier sexual preference - the problem in my mind is that so many want to openly rub peoples faces in it through unnecessary attention seeking behaviour.
