My dad bought me that game when I was 11, not sure what he was thinking although I absolutely love it, never got very far though. Absolutely love the story though.War-hamster said:Oddworld: Abe's Odyssee - Propobly the most difficult platformer ever made
This only I didn't defet the last level where you save that pink bit** because my computer restarted for no reason and I was so pissed that I just gave upAlternatePFG said:Super Meat Boy. Absolutely loved the game, beat the final boss and that was it. The bonus levels are just too damn hard.
Just get the Hellsing, it wins the game.PurplePlatypus said:Metro 2033.
I just suck at it, really badly.
Oh yeah I forgot about NG2. I think I tried twice on the final boss and gave up because it was too annoying. Besides there was no motivation to beat it; I don't care about achievements or the hilariously bad story, and all but a handful of the bosses in NG2 were extremely cheap. I had way more fun fighting regular enemies, so why force myself through another mega-cheap, unfun boss battle when there are no regular enemies to fight afterwards?StonkThis said:Ninja Gaiden 2. I made it to the last boss, but spent my money on stupid shit, so I could never beat it. I saved, so I was stuck with no heal items and I had to kill 3 bosses. I've yet to beat it, I doubt I'll ever try again.
Erm... I'm pretty sure you're pulling my leg, because you know the Yu yevon fight is unlosable because you get auto revived, I couldn't possibly lose there. I also don't consider it a boss. I was talking about the boss before it. I don't want to be nasty, but Yu Yevon is the easiest final boss in the entire series- you don't even have to grind up your levels to one-shot him.DoctorPhil said:Final fantasy X. Why? I didn't like the game very much.... I grew sick of it at the end, when you're in sin. I then started to skip every single monster and still annihilated that queer ass wimp Seymour. Then I kept skipping monsters untill I came to the final boss. The whole game was too easy up till now (except yunalesca), so I thought I could kill him easy. I was wrong. He could attack twice each turn, almost killing me each time. As soon as I killed those pagodas, they started spinning again immediately the next turn. I stood no chance and kept dying in no time, 3 times. Not wanting to grind, I gave up on that damn game.
Whenever people bring up the "what was the most disappointing boss fight" type thread, it's always, without fail, my answer.
The attack you need is called Zombie Attack; it's available to Auron first. Then you can sit back and watch it kill itself- no further effort required on your part.
Yeah, no one really considers Yu Yevon a boss fight. Just an odd way to end the story in a more involved way.DoctorPhil said:Erm... Odyssee was much harder for me because it didn't have quick-save, only check points. Sometimes you had to redo several difficult sections in a row.Flatfrog said:Was it harder than Exoddus? I found that one mostly pretty easy but never played Odyssee. It is possibly my favourite game of all time, though.War-hamster said:Oddworld: Abe's Odyssee - Propobly the most difficult platformer ever made
