What about people who are actually being offensive or downright pathetic?
If you are actually
offended because someone teases you about watching a TV show you like, you're the pathetic one. 99.9999% of the time the person making the joke is way less pathetic than the person crying over it. This is no exception. This was one of the most harmless "controversial" jokes I have ever seen in my life. Not even joking. The reaction of the MLP community was absolutely pathetic and mocked them even more than any joke targeted at them ever could.

The brony community has some of the most impressive fanworks in such a short period of time, and have managed to convert hard-core trolls into people whose philosophy is to "love and tolerate the shit" out of people they don't like.
And you don't have to watch the show to enjoy a lot of the fanstuffs, either; I liked Derpy before I ever saw the thing.
"I like My Little Pony so anyone who doesn't like it is being illogical."
That's all you're really saying there. Halo fans could make just as convincing arguments about their fandom.

I suppose what I'm saying is that, unlike a lot of fanbases, you really have to reach to mock bronies
No, not really. Once again you're using your own bias to make your own point here.

"people don't insult adults who love Transfomers, or other male-oriented franchises" sexism thing...
Hell yes they do. I see people be scorned and dealt a whopping blow of smug elitism for even mentioning Michael Bay's Transformer films all the time.

I've never seen anyone mocking of bronies actually, in any way, seem funny. Go ahead and laugh at the raving Halo fanboys, or the stupid Sonic recolor fan characters.
"Jokes about my fandom aren't funny because I like it and I think it is above being made fun of. Jokes about other people's fandom is funny though, because even though they like it and they think it is above satire, they're wrong".
You're acting like you actually have the answers to this. Humour is one of the most subjective things on the planet, and it's pretty clear that many people do find pony jokes funny. Once again, fans of Sonic and Halo could make just as convincing arguments here.

And if you can find something other than, "Lol, dudes liking little girl cartoons," then I guess you get to make fun of bronies, too.
Without a good reason to laugh at bronies, it all seems like someone's insecure with their masculinity or think themselves too kewl for anything mainstream.
Why do people need a reason that
you approve of to make fun of something? People can make fun of whatever the fuck they want in any way they want, and they shouldn't have to apologise for mocking you about a fucking TV show. Grow a pair. If you honestly get offended when you are ribbed for watching MLP, you live a way too sheltered life.
You don't need to desperately try to convince haters they're being illogical and in truth MLP is actually the best show ever, because that just makes you seem even more childish. You don't need to cry and complain because someone made a completely harmless joke about a TV show. All you need to do is shut your mouth and continue watching it and enjoy it.
