Traditional english names are conservative?similar.squirrel said:There was a really conservative guy in my history class, back at school. I think it may have been a charade, seeing as he came out with things like 'I'm naming my children Margaret and Ronald' and 'I'd rather my children smoked than didn't go to church'.
Anyway, he drank like a fish and routinely passed out on nights out. And when I last met him in a club, he scabbed a cigarette from me.
Funny, coming from such a straight-laced and allegedly clean-living guy.
I want to name my children things like, Richard, Edward, Elizabeth, Harold, Margaret et cetera. does this make me conservative?
I have been shocked by people before but I cannot think of any examples at this time. People who've known me since highscool or beyond are sometimes shocked to hear that I'm majoring in Health and Physical Education. Conversely people at uni are sometimes shocked to find out how much of a nerd I am.
