I have a friend who is extremely homophobic and doesn't like black people very much but no matter what i say, he won't change. He's very adamant about it, it annoys me.

Ah, yes, I have one of those.
A close friend of mine is, seemingly, a cool guy. Certainly, whe I met him back in high school (Uh, Junior high, I think, is the American equivalent? Not sure) he never really bothered me with anything.
But for the past year, he has been really pissing me off. He frequently expresses contempt for Christians, in both private and public environments. He is racist (I swear, if he starts a conversation with "Well, Hitler was bad, I guess, *but*" one more time...), openly homophobic (Despite knowing that, as a man who is willing to admit homosexual attractions, I might have reason to take offence to this), and, finally, just generally elitist.
I find myself asking, what, exactly, the fuck happened? I'll blame videogames. It works for the rest of the world.

Could be a bit off-topic, but this one old friend of mine(who was an atheist) quited talking to me when he heard that I'm Christian.

That was few years ago and he still hasn't talked to me at all.

Since almost all of my friends went to parochial schools I just take it for granted that we're all Athiests now.

So it always catches me off guard when one of my friends mentions going to church or saying his prayers.
I don't think Ill of him for it, it's just out of the ordinary for my social circle.

Hahaha... Though that's kind of understandable to me(don't ask me to explain it, as I can't really articulate what I mean on that very well).
I feel the exact same on that. I'm awful at explaining why...

My example: My ex GF, whom I still talk to, rather be called a "c*nt" than a "*****." It's my understanding and belief that "c*nt" is the more severe word. Also, in the same idea, she prefers to be called "retarded" over "stupid." Again...isn't "retarded" worse? Always been my thinking...

People who think 9/11 was a hoax.
A lot of people who talk like that don't even truly believe that, there just jumping on the band wagon.

I remeber that when Loose Change was aired over here, even my sister was starting to say things like, "Wow, that could actually be true."
But now you never hear her talking about that "melting point of steel" bullshit.

Well, D&D is taking it to the next level. Possibly two more levels.

OT: I can't believe some of the batshit Republicans in America are supposed to be Christian (Beck, O'Reilly and the like). I mean, I'll say it now: I think religion is infantile and just a little bit ridiculous, but even I have a better understanding of what modern day Christianity is supposed to be about then those guys do, I swear.

"Healthcare reform to help people who can't afford the insurance? Why the fuck should I pay for the leeches! Also, I'm a good Christian."

Their political and religious views are bordering on an oxymoron of sorts.

We were talking over the phone, and somehow managed to get on the subject of houses being built behind his place. And as we were talking about it, he mentioned offhand that he hoped no Polish moved in there.
There was a long pause. I then, as flatly as possible, said "what".
He went on to clarify that it wasn't racist. He just didn't think it was right that they were coming into our country, stealing all our women and jobs.
I told him he was an idiot and that racism was exactly what it was.
Oh god fucking forbid someone is concerned about the sovereignty of their nation.
You are incredibly right-wing for someone my age.

Can you please explain how it is possible for the ground zero site to have molten metal on the remains of the steel spines?
And don't say it was the aviation fuel, it does not burn NEARLY as hot enough.

Ps. Don't think I'm denying that it was a fucking tragedy.

What I'm saying is.......PLANE FUEL CAN'T MELT STEEL, AND THE TOWERS'S STEEL SUPPORT NEEDED TO MELT FOR IT TO POSSIBLE TO FALL.

Ever wondered why the falling looked so much like a controlled demolition?
IT'S NOT LIKE ITS STARING YOU IN THE FACE OR ANYTHIHNG!!
Uh, what? I think you are just trying to wind them up, the steel only needs to reach 40% of it's melting temp for it to loose 50% of it's structural strength. so no, not melted at all.

the globs of melted material were more likely aluminium.

I still think you are winding them up though, you know, for the lulz

Lady, the dude was fourteen. He didn't even know the fucking word.
He just picked it up from the people he worked with at the time.

Maybe that's what they cared about. Maybe not. I can't say I really give a shit.
He was just trying to be cool. Like an idiot.

One of my friends is both a rabid Zionist and a hardcore Liberal.
Explain the first part.
He believes very strongly in Israel's right to exist on the land it currently holds (as opposed to the palestinians' claim of that land). It's a belief most commonly held by conservatives.

Apparently, she actually believes all of this, for real.
You know, I wouldn't have so much of problem with Truthism if she wasn't so sodding arrogant about it.
But she's a troll, so I guess it's what she does.

Indeed, there was nothing proving that this was molten steel. I don't think it was ever tested. Steel was not the only metal contained in the WTC.

Some metals and their melting points(Fahrenheit):
Aluminum______1220
Zinc___________787
Lead___________621
Tin____________450

Conspiracy theorists often engage in anomaly hunting. IOW, they seek out little bits of information that don't seem to fit the generally accepted explanation, and hold these up as though it completely refutes all the evidence that does fit.

I'm sorry, but I'm more convinced by the mountain behind you than the pebbles in your hand.

I don't want to start a war here so I'll ask the three major questions for you. Who did it? Why would they do it? And why hasn't anyone come forward with some legitimate proof? (i.e. documents, or whatever.)
Edit: Speculation is not proof.
Inside Job/To keep people scared and stupid/Scared of being assassinated.
Ok, then who did it? And why hasn't anybody been able to conclusively prove it?
