"Possibly. I don't see it being of great use, however, except for maybe in menial things." Solaris responded casually. "I think it's better to excel in one field, rather then be mediocre in many. Plus, I want to publish my reseach on the studies I've preformed once I've perfected it. I've been out of a job since I resigned as a journalist, and that's been quite the pain." She added as she looked down to Pix drawing the circle. "Hmm. The symbol there is wrong, isn't it?"

Malcor shook his head. "No, humans typically do not. I do, but not being human, I do not affect that statistic. Hiding identities is usually the only purpose of a mask."

Carmen looked over, raising an eyebrow. [color=bb0066] Really now...? So you are a loon. The good thing is that you know... "Really now? I'd say you seemed more in control than anything." [/color]

Vera tilted her head. [color=00aa44] "Acknowledged. Inquiring what species you actually are." [/color] Vera stated next.

[color=80bb00] "Ah... the dream to get published. Even across worlds, that's the same. Not having money definitely doesn't he;p there either..." [/color] Pix said with a longing sigh. [color=80bb00] "The thing about that is there's being mediocre at something and then being proficient at it. You might not excel, but you'll at least have a broader base of skills to use." [/color]

Noting Solaris' observation, she looked down and blinked in surprise. [color=80bb00] "O-Oh! Um...." [/color] The small indentations made in her goo were pushed back up, effectively erasing it as she consulted the book again and trying to draw the correct symbol in its place.

"I'm not usually that... far gone and vicious." Kenna said, seeming embarrassed and slightly scared.

After Pix pushed out the indentation she had made, Solaris looked to the refference in the book, then back to Pix. "That was the symbol for mercury you used. The one you want there is the one for iron, as depicted there." She said, sliding off her seat, and crouching down besides Pix, pointing towards the symbol. "And, I'll think about it, I suppose. I still have my entire life infront of me. Plenty of time to learn about other fields, should I choose to."

Pix nodded as she corrected the symbol on her circle. [color=80bb00] "Alright... Think everything's set now..." [/color] Hearing Solaris seem to warm up to her suggestion, the goo girl smirked as she put the finishing touches on the circle. [color=80bb00] "Right, you're a smart girl, picking new stuff up shouldn't be too difficult. Though the whole question of 'compatibility' is gonna rear its head." [/color]

Completing the circle, the 'tablet' moved back into her form and eventually sat visible on her chest. She placed one hand in the center of the circle and placed the other on the doorknob. The circle glowed and a small pop was heard before there was a dagger resting in Pix's hands. She spun it around in her fingers and grinned at Solaris. [color=80bb00] "Looks like we're going to be in business...." [/color]

Carmen chuckled a bit. [color=bb0066] "Well, you surely fooled me." [/color] Looking back to the screens, she took another sip. [color=bb0066] "But in all honesty, that will probably be a boon to have in this place. The lack of control, I mean." [/color]

"Not really. I don't want to go all crazy-hacky-slashy again." Kenna said.

"My. Thanks for the compliment, Pix." Solaris said with a smile that was slightly brighter then the dry smiles she usually cracked. Her tone of voice also sounded more appreciative, if ever-so-slightly. Once Pix reformed herself, Solaris stood up also, and leaned in closer by a small amount, inspecting the circle, nodding in approval after a glance.

When Pix moved to the door and transmuted the doorknob and started the transmutation process, Solaris walked up to her, and looked on expectantly. With the transmutation a success, Solaris smirked along with Pix. "Well now. Congratulations on your first successful transmutation."

[color=bb0066] "But it would be so useful again those in the arena. Not caring for being injured, being utterly ruthless... Oh, I just wish I could exhibit such behaviors." [/color] Carmen said, placing a hand on her chest and smiling a small bit. [color=bb0066] "Don't be willing to shove the demons down deep within you just yet, dear. ...Provided you even have demons inside to begin with." [/color]

Pix tossed the dagger up and down a few times before looking back to Solaris, not picking up on Solaris being a little more appreciative. [color=80bb00] "Not a problem. Now then... what's the next step you had in mind?" [/color]

"I have to bottle them up." Kenna retorted. "Otherwise I won't be human anymore."

 

[Chungus]

"Next?" Solaris began in questioning tone as she tilted her head slightly, and brought an index finger to the corner of her mouth. "Next, we shift it back into a lower gear and take things slowly." She said, then momentarily looked to the hole in the door where the doorknob had been, before looking back to Pix and opening her arms. "A little practice in working as one wouldn't go a amiss, either."

[color=bb0066] "Hmmmm? And what's so wrong with not being human?" [/color] Carmen questioned, tilting her head and her cross-shaped pupils intensifying a minuscule amount. [color=bb0066] "Especially in a place such as this where being 'human' is likely to get you killed and by proxy trapped here forever." [/color]

Pix nodded casually as she quickly shifted forms and morphed around Solaris, taking on the armored form as per usual. The dagger stuck out of the right side, allowing Solaris to easily take it if she wanted. [color=80bb00] "Right... And I'll keep my hype levels at acceptable levels then... Hopefully..." [/color]

"Well, I won't object to the occasional vibration. It's an oddly pleasant feeling." Solaris stated with a faint chuckle as Pix molded herself around Solaris' body once more. Seeing the dagger stick out of the side, Solaris took it, and moved into the hole in the wall, holding on to it, then looking to where on Pix's form the circle had moved. "Now, then. I'm going to touch the circle, when I do activate it, and tranmutate the dagger back into the doorknob.

[color=bb0066] "This moral high-horse you're trying to ride holds no place here. If you really think it will, go ahead and try to kill someone without going 'crazy' as you called it." [/color]

Vera tilted her head, her face still neutral. [color=00aa44] "This unit is willing to exchange information of equivalent priority. Given that her manufacturer isn't in this vicinity, this unit has been authorized to act on its own accord as it sees fit. Knowing this, repeats inquiry of race, specifying greater detail as informant sees fit." [/color]

[color=80bb00] ...Lewd. "Hehe... I'll keep that in mind." [/color] Pix said with a chuckle of her own. The circle would be on the armors breastplate, dead center. The goo jiggled a small bit as Pix looked to Solaris expectantly. [color=80bb00] "Ready when you are." [/color]

"Human, always. And I don't want to kill anyone! I like fighting, and I know we come back fine, but I'd rather not have to murder!" Kenna said loudly.

While holding on to the dagger, Solaris brought her free hand to the tranmutation circle, touching it with her hand horital, and holding it in that position. If the transmutation went without setbacks, Solaris would smile, open the door, and leave the suite, locking the door behind her once again, then head towards the lounge.

"Very well then. we will operate one for one, until we are both satisfied. Now, I am demon, of the order of form, serving under lucifer morningstar as his faithful servant, created originally as an angel but cast down from heaven for rebelling. I hope that is sufficent." Malcor said, rubbing his mask's nose.
