The smirk was hidden a small bit as the woman took another sip of her wine. [color=bb0066] "Even I don't enjoy killing that much, and I'm the demon. I'd honestly say to stop holding yourself back so much. You'll just get angrier if you bottle it up..." [/color]

As Solaris touched the circle, Pix did the transmutation, keeping her focus long enough to make it successful. As Solaris left, Pix giggled a bit. [color=80bb00] "Alright, alright! More practice and we'll have this down in no time!" [/color] She said, excited a small bit, the slime vibrating a small bit.

[color=00aa44] "Acknowledged." [/color] Vera said, her eyes blinking a small bit. [color=00aa44] "Awaiting inquiry from informant..." [/color] She said after a moment, her eyes blinking out to show white question marks in the empty dark green pools of her eyes.

"I know! I know that if I don't watch myself at all times, I'm gonna hurt someone. I know that the longer I try and keep it down, the more powerful it gets." Kenna stood, walking over to Carmen, her hand tightening into a fist. As she spoke, her tail began growing out as if to prove her second point. "I never wanted any of this. I just want to be human again and never have to deal with any of this crap!"

"very well. Have you ever been mistaken as human?" he asked, observing the eyes with some interest.

 

[Chungus]

"I'm looking forward to it." Solaris responded with a slightly lowered voice as she walked, a small smile creeping over her face. "The posibilities I'm seeing here... If things go as I hope they will, it'll be a sight to see."

Further approaching the lounge, Solaris looked up as she picked up on Kenna shouting. "Oh?" She said to herself as she quickened her pace by a small amount.

Walking up from another hallway, patrick walked behind Solaris.

[color=bb0066] "Then the question that comes up is if you'll ever find a cure to your condition... A werewolf, correct?" [/color] Carmen said, looking toward the tail and not seeming to be too put off by it. [color=bb0066] "From what I've seen... Lycanthropy can be cured by exorcism or by ingesting a good amount of wolfsbane." [/color] She said, taking another sip.

[color=bb0066] "Wouldn't it just be easier to let go, however? Until you find a cure, you'll always have fresh blood on your hands and you'll always enjoy spilling it. And in a place like this, I highly doubt an exorcist or an apothecary will willingly help an opponent with anything." [/color]

[color=80bb00] "Let's hope so." [/color] Pix chuckled in response before the mouth on the breastplate melted back into itself.

[color=00aa44] "Exactly 478 times. 479 if the informant thought this unit was a human." [/color] Vera answered almost immediately after the question was asked. [color=00aa44] "This inquiry implies the same phenomenon affects you in some way. Now inquiring if Informant dislikes being identified incorrectly as a human." [/color]

"Did someone say exorcism?" Patrick asked with a grin as he walked in, still with an axe in hand and his priestly garb on.

Solaris continued moving towards the lounge, slowing her pace when nearby to reduce the noise her footsteps made, which would then likely to be inaudible over the noise of Kenna shouting. Hearing the footsteps of Patrick coming up behind her, and was about to turn around, when Patrick sped up, and walked into the lounge. Blowing a small sigh, she stopped outside the door, and pressed her back against the wall, wrapping her arms around her waist. Let's see what I can learn from this.

"But now I know there's a cure. And as soon as I get outta here, I'm gonna get it." Kenna said, inches from Carmen's face. "And if you're trying to get me to give in, I'm not gonna listen to a word you say, you demonic *****." She didn't notice Patrick coming in.

[color=bb0066] "Ooooh~ Scary." [/color] Carmen said, stifling a chuckle as Kenna got in her face. [color=bb0066] "Just be warned the actual cure rate on either of those is rather low. Not to mention, those are the methods of curing it on my world. As I'm sure you noticed, we're not from the same world, thus the same cure may not work for you... but it's all conjecture at this point." [/color]

She tilted her head a bit afterward, seeming to smirk more the longer Kenna stayed in her face. [color=bb0066] "I'm just suggesting the method that would make your life easier. You're the one making everything hard for yourself, trying to be something you no longer are. Excuse me for wanting others to live comfortably." [/color] She said before taking another sip of her wine. As Patrick walked in, she gave him a casual wave, even as she noticed his priestly garb. Her wings and heart-tipped tail both moved casually as she continued to lean back in her seat.

"best to keep it at 478 times then. I chose to be identified as human during my stay here. Normally I do not look remotely human, and do not have an accusation that I am human. I must say, I enjoy the idea of being people assuming I am human. Now, another question. Do you dislike being identified as human?" Malcor responded, shuffling his feet.

Kenna said nothing, merely scowling at Carmen as she walked off. She then noticed Patrick, and froze, quickly shifting her tail away

[sub]"My, my, my... She must love making enemies."[/sub] Solaris whispered to Pix, looking down to her breastplate as she did. Pushing off the wall, she began moving away from the lounge. [sub]"This means two things for myself..."[/sub]

"Well I must say, I admire you, Kenna. It takes quite a special person to chose a hard life over an easy one." Patrick said as he assumed a casual stance. He glanced at Carmen and his eyes seemed to flash.

[color=bb0066] "Bye-bye now, dear~" [/color] Carmen said, in a motherly tone as she waved Kenna off.
As Patrick looked at her and his eyes flashed, he'd feel that looking at her would cause him disorientation. She didn't look at him at all as her eyes went back to the screens.

Vera shook her head. [color=00aa44] "Being misidentified as human causes no real disadvantages in this unit's line of work. Inquiring why you enjoy being identified as human?" [/color]

[color=80bb00] [small] "...Those things being...?" [/small] [/color] Pix asked in return, the mouth appearing on Solaris' right shoulderplate rather than the breastplate. [color=80bb00] [small] "...I think you might wanna break your alliance with her... It won't bode well." [/small] [/color]

 

[Chungus]

Solaris was slightly suprised by Pix's mouth appearing on the pauldron, but not by a great deal. She said nothing for a time as she moved away from the lounge, seemingly moving towards the arena propper. "The second thing is exactly what you said." She responded finally, looking over her shoulder before doing so to judge wherther or not she would be out of earshot. "The way she's behaving, she's a liability to my plans. I can't very well act like I'm out of place here if I'm allied with someone like that. And the first thing this means, is that it'll be all the more easy to remove her from the rosterboard."

"Thanks. And I know it ain't easy, but what other choice do I have, right?" Kenna said to Patrick, still trying to supress her anger at Carmen.

Malcor rubbed his fingers together. "I have watched humans for millennia, and before I was always known and feared because they associated me with punishment in Hell. Now I can walk among humans and they don't realize they come to me after death. its... interesting, I would say."

"Tis usually better to resist temptation, in most times." Patrick said as he took a seat quite close to Carmen. She might notice that now his silver cross was glowing slightly.

Pix simply hummed in agreement, the mouth moving back to the breastplate as the duo moved out of earshot of others. [color=80bb00] "Well, she's not gonna care much way anyway, would she? She seems to enjoy pissing people off, if all that yelling was any clue. I don't think intervening to make sure she places low is necessary... due to that as well." [/color]

Vera hummed a bit, acting human for a moment or two before looking back to Malcor and nodding. [color=00aa44] "Inquiring further, what does the informant do with the dead they see?" [/color]

Carmen continued to drink, not caring in the slightest that Patrick was near her.
