The success Knife felt as he disarmed Carmen almost instantly evaporates the moment he feels her whip strike him in the arm. As the whip comes down a second time, Knife sheaths the tanto in his right hand and reaches up with his robotic digits in an attempt to grab the whip.
Carmen frowned a small bit as Knife grabbed her whip. In an attempt to throw him off, she flapped her wings to give her a small boost as she attempted to pull Knife in the air and toward her. Regardless of success or failure, she'd swing one of her wings forward to send a small gust of cutting wind toward her opponent.
While Carmen's surprise move of launching herself into the air doesn't pull Knife into the air as well, it succedes in knocking him off balance enough that her cutting wind sends him flying back a few meters. Unfortulently for the Succubus however, Knife still has a firm grip on her whip, pulling her along with him.
If that's not how 'cutting wind' works, I can edit my post.

Sir Dan, Diana and Laguna were in the lounge. Laguna was sitting at the bar with a glass of water, Dan was sat on a chair somehow chewing away at a chicken drumstick with a ticket in one hand, and Diana was sat oppiste the skeleton, watching the battle.

James sat in the lounge, loosely holding a glass of tequila and smoking as he watched the fight from the screen.
Down in the stands, a trio of figures sat among the crowds, at the front. One was a tall figure in a flowing, expensive robe. The other two wore elaborate suits of golden armour and carried swords of the same material visibly on their belts. All three sat quiet and composed as the crowd around them screamed and cheered.

Laguna looked over at James. "You sure you're allowed to smoke in here?"
OoC: @Berk I think I know who that is, and if it is them, you may wanna move them outa the spectator stands if you want them to interact. I suspect this fight is gonna be time-bubbled a lot.

"Eh? Why wouldn't I... oh, right! I forgot, there were rules against that, weren't there?" He replied, frowning. Taking the cigarette from his lips he stubbed it out in the palm of his hand, exhaling in a slow hiss as it seared the skin. When it went out he flicked it at the nearest wastebasket.
"Sorry about that."

"Actually, it was a genuine question. I didn't know there were any rules here. But now I know there are rules for that, so... yeah." Laguna shifted in his seat a little. "Sorry for interupting."

"I don't know if they have them here, but they used to back in my world. Either way, I should have thought of it beforehand. Just because everyone in CEQ smoked doesn't mean everyone is fine with smoke in an enclosed space."
