Reggie looked at her as she marched out the door and looked over to Wulfstain. "Guess we don't need horses then." he said, jokingly as he finished his food, standing up, and putting on a more serious face.
"Sure, Avandra will be in our favour, but it's doubtful that that will be enough to protect us. Anyone who leaves things up to chance needs to rethink their priorities. Chances are that chance will always be against everyone, whether they know it or not and the gods being in their favour has rarily worked to stop a well-honed sword from cutting into a person's flesh. In the end people will have to stop relying on the gods favour to help them and start relying on themselves and their own will to win." He said more to himself than to anyone else, hence the slightly confusing dialouge.
"Ready to leave?" he said to Wulfstain in a more relaxed tone, getting over the annoyance that he saw with Marisa's statement. Not that he was annoyed with marisa, it was that something in her statement urked him.
"Well, at least the promise of treasure will be enough to motivate and will on some people." He said while walking to the door, not exactly sure whom he was refering to(though he could tell that to a certain extent that it included him), not caring about who heard him. He began following in line with Marisa as she walked on.
