That may just bw the best idea in the history of today. Maybe an Eisenhorn movie, that would be awesomeCpt_Oblivious said:Let's make an Inquisitor movie!CantFaketheFunk said:Bah, 40k space marines are so boring.
You have an easier time relating to rednecks and prisoners?CantFaketheFunk said:Bah, 40k space marines are so boring.
...would I have an easier time relating to normal humans (albeit rednecks and prisoners) than I would genetically engineered supermen who live hundreds of years and are slavishly devoted to their emperor to the point where "fanaticism" is far too soft a word to describe it?hansari said:You have an easier time relating to rednecks and prisoners?CantFaketheFunk said:Bah, 40k space marines are so boring.
What sort of obscure past did The Funk rise from?
To be fair, they're not as fanatic as the Sisters of Battle, who take it further than the Space Marines.CantFaketheFunk said:...would I have an easier time relating to normal humans (albeit rednecks and prisoners) than I would genetically engineered supermen who live hundreds of years and are slavishly devoted to their emperor to the point where "fanaticism" is far too soft a word to describe it?hansari said:You have an easier time relating to rednecks and prisoners?CantFaketheFunk said:Bah, 40k space marines are so boring.

Yes. Yes I would.
Now, That I'd pay to see.Onmi said:Make a Ciaphas Cain (HERO OF THE IMPERIUM!) movie and i'll care.
i think you either dont listen to the background behind 40k or you've been shown some pretty bad examples.CantFaketheFunk said:...would I have an easier time relating to normal humans (albeit rednecks and prisoners) than I would genetically engineered supermen who live hundreds of years and are slavishly devoted to their emperor to the point where "fanaticism" is far too soft a word to describe it?hansari said:You have an easier time relating to rednecks and prisoners?CantFaketheFunk said:Bah, 40k space marines are so boring.

Dude Orks are fun, if set them up right. They have lots of nice ork humor.Sebenko said:Agreed. They're a one dimensional, kinda generic enemy, even more so than the incarnation of every boring aspect of SPESS MEHREENS, the UltraMEHREENS.Joshimodo said:No Tyranids or Tau as enemies? I'll pass. Orks are awful.
And there are about a billion more interesting little chapters out there. Relictors, Soul drinkers, Rainbow marines...
Oh yea, I still have a 2000 point ork army (even though I have no one to play with anymore). Their rules are retarded, but if you have hot hands that day you can really own. The new codex nerfed them pretty bad though, made em too shooty.Triple G said:Dude Orks are fun, if set them up right. They have lots of nice ork humor.Sebenko said:Agreed. Fine by me. I don't see the appeal of the Marines, Elves and so on. Orkz and maybe Necro dudes are the only ones I like.oppp7 said:But why can't it have both? Instead of having the movie based on the space marines, why not the orks of Octavious fighting the tyranids? Space marines are practically Marie Sues in WH40k. Every time they have a book or a video game the space marines have to be in it. The only exceptions are when it is a sequel. Then the first part of the series is the only one that needs a space marine.Abedeus said:What do you mean, "at least we get orks"? Still, it doesn't look like the movie will be any good.
Which part of that is incorrect? They are genetically engineered supermen who have century-long lifespans, they're all about BURN THE HERETIC AND THE MUTANT FOR THE EMPERAH to the point of fanaticism. That's what it's been like in any WH40k games I've seen, that's the sort of thing all the 40k fanboys post in threads, etc.DisturbiaWolf13 said:i think you either dont listen to the background behind 40k or you've been shown some pretty bad examples.CantFaketheFunk said:...would I have an easier time relating to normal humans (albeit rednecks and prisoners) than I would genetically engineered supermen who live hundreds of years and are slavishly devoted to their emperor to the point where "fanaticism" is far too soft a word to describe it?hansari said:You have an easier time relating to rednecks and prisoners?CantFaketheFunk said:Bah, 40k space marines are so boring.

Fun fact: 'Relativity' as a notion is a Sin according to the Imperium.CantFaketheFunk said:Which part of that is incorrect?
