I had a fantastic, meticulously painted (I used to paint them for a job) Dark Angels squad, with Deathwing Terminators, Rhinos, Grand Librarian Ezekiel, Raven Squad, the works.

My ex-wife threw them out when we got divorced! Grrrrr.

How did you make the vehicles all Thousand Sonny? Do you even have vehicles/artillery in your Thousand Sons force? I've always wondered how that'd look.

I miss swarming my enemies in Guardian Defenders and chucking out enough Shuriken Catapult fire to drown the enemy with my shooting dice. Twenty in a squad, plus a Scatter Laser? Yes please.

Definately start putting on random Tomb Kings bits. Since the T Sons look all Egyptian, start putting Egyptian-looking stuff on their tanks. Also, make the armour look all guilded and rune-encrusted.

I have 7k (7027 or something to that effect) points of Tau, I don't lose unless I'm playing against Necrons in the hands of my best friend (the other Necron players suck horribly) or against Dark Eldar in the hands of one of the other players at the store. Then again I haven't played some of the older players in so long I don't know how I would fair against them. Oh wait I forgot there is one other person I may or may not lose to, it's always a freaking close game, I beat him when I was new(ish) to the game, but because I had a 500 point advantage I gave him the win. I once owned a Dark Angels army which did not agree with my dice (I went through about 8 sets of dice and always rolled bad however I roll awesome with my Tau) so I sold it, although in hindsight I should have kept some so I could kill the aforementioned Necron player. Were I to say this where any of the gamers at my store could hear me they would call me an arrogant asshole, it may be true but so is the fact that I haven't lost a game in a long time (except when I had to play against the two mentioned earlier), I guess that's not true I lost in a tournament recently because I thought I was playing someone else's game so I didn't care if I won or not, when I faced that player later on I destroyed him utterly.

I'm a loyal Guardsmen through and through, though it automatically reduces the likelihood of successful dice rolls by 99%, regardless of stats.

That is because the tau are beardy and overpowered. That being said, I rarely lose to tau players.
lol you just have to think of the Tau like the nerds in high school; if you let them use all of their technology, they're deadly. Get them into hand-to-hand combat, on the other hand, and you give them nasty wedgies...by pulling their spines out through their spleen.

God bless the kroot, individually they may be week but in packs of 20, when you have a few packs, they are quite dangerous in melee.

No I would be called that because for a while I was being a total jerk without realizing I was going overboard, I now have an agreement with some of the players at my store, my attitude was a response to how they were treating me, they treat me nicely and I be nice polite and respectful.

Where I play the Tau are considered quite balanced, this doesn't stop them from hating on the railgun though, mostly because everyone has played against them so much when they first came out, that they are now used to handling it (well the older players anyhow), but I can still beat most of them, but I run a different Tau army than everyone else does. In a 1500 point game what will you normally see? I picked that number for a reason which will be explained when I see some lists.

I play Speed Freeks, and I have found Wazzdakka to be really good. He can turbo boost and still fire 4 strength 8 shots every turn. And to deal with the kroots, just get two units of boyz to get a good charge, and they'll have four attacks each. And if you're playing regular orks, mega nobs can be quite nasty in melee.

I don't lead with my kroot, they are my counter charge force, usually with a line of fire warriors in front of them , it's a good game for me if I never have to use them.

I like the tyrinids out of 40,000. They are so awesome on many different levels.
That they are, PurpleRain, that they are :p
Big spiky stabby death machines. Like Aliens mixed with the Zerg and the aliens off Starship Troopers. Mix two parts of assymulating planets into spore worlds and a hint of killing everything to feed the ever growing hive mind.
I have a 4000pnt nid army and that is why i ahve them most a little hacking slashy onesa the rest are genstealers and lictors (broodlord HQ) and the best bit is i never paid for any of it, as my dad knew the guy at the workshop and as they had som exess stock i got about 3000 points of the newer nids for very cheep.

oh and i hate all high armour vehicles as my main horde cant scratch them but instead soak up fire untill the GS or lictors can.
