Ah, that accursed freedom of expression. But wait, it works both ways (or following my convoluted train of thought, in three ways): we can call them retards, they can picket funerals, and we can counter-protest their protest at the funeral.
Except that won't happen. See, if you piss off the wrong sort of people, you will get hurt, and there aren't too many people more 'wrong' than metalheads in large crowds. Well, guess we'll get to picket some WBC funerals if they go through with this...
But something I've been wondering about: what is their petty protest supposed to accomplish? Are they just that desperate for attention, but too much of a collective pussy to get into a shootout with federal agents? 'cuz claiming that Dio is now in hell, and that I'll join him if I don't repent and accept JC as my lord and savior isn't really all that persuasive. Apparently the price of apostasy is spending eternity with metal gods and other really interesting people.
And RIP, Dio. I'll go play Holy Diver at max volume for a few hours...
