"My bombs work better than all this 'magic key' crap..." Tavish muttered to himself as he listened to Goku and Vicky's conversation.
"I suppose you do." Goku replied to Vicky. When Tavish compared his bombs to Ki and magic, Goku crossed his arms, while placing his right hand on his chin. "I wouldn't say that. Manipulating one's Ki has a lot of uses. Not just destruction."
Sophia abruptly looked over to Goku when he spoke, not expecting the conversation to pick up all of a sudden thinking that Salty had been watching Korra and that sort of thing and hadn't looked at Escapist in the last little bit. "What!? Well..." Sophia started to explain. "I haven't really ever had to fight, even then I'd probably not resort to it." Sophia replied, sounding a little caught off guard. "It's not like I rely on it." Sophia answered.
"Destruction is my job though, I don't need anything else from my bombs when I get paid to blow people up. [sub]I used to anyways, before robots took my job...[/sub]" Tavish replied to Goku.
"How much further do we got to go?" Tavish asked, gesturing forward with his grenade launcher.

"Really?" Goku said in reply to Sophia, his hand still on his chin. He then placed both hands on the back of his head and smiled. "Seems like I've spent a good chunk of my life fighting. I honestly sort of enjoy it."
Keeping his demeanor, he addressed Tavish. "Not really sure. We're getting closer to the Ki, but it might take us a minute to get there, still. And while I do enjoy fighting, needless destruction and killing isn't really what I do."
Goku then looked towards Vicky out of the corner of his eye. After a moment, he said, "Well, you may get a chance to show us sooner rather than later."
OoC: @Zeph: Episode was only 30 minutes long. Not even that, really. I've been done with it for a while.
Keeping his demeanor, he addressed Tavish. "Not really sure. We're getting closer to the Ki, but it might take us a minute to get there, still. And while I do enjoy fighting, needless destruction and killing isn't really what I do."

Goku would notice that the source of the Ki had started moving quite quickly, heading towards them at ground level.
"Ha! You're damn right that your magic is just a party trick!" Tavish shouted at Vicky before she finished her whole sentence. "I'd be willing to bet that you can't even blow someone up with it!"
"There are people who pay me millions to do what I do. I wouldn't call it needless, because they obviously need me to blow something up." Tavish explained to Goku.

"Well... I did spend a good chunk of time when I was little wrestling with our three ferrets we had on the farm to take care of the rabbit problems, but I've never really been the one to... well fight to actually fight really." Sophia answered, smiling a little nostalgically at the memory.
"I don't think one should be proud to get others caught up in their battle. I'm all for a good fight, but not one that endangers others." Goku replied to Tavish.

"Lets get ready for a fight, lads!"Tavish shouted as he walked to the front of the group, alongside Goku. He started laying down sticky bombs on the ground in front of them.
"What!? It's coming already?!" Sophia exclaimed, her aetheric torch turning on all of a sudden. The way Sophia then glanced over at it made it look like she hadn't expected it to turn on. She then directed it in the way Goku was facing. "Alright!" She acknowledged, but didn't move from her current spot at the moment.
Vicky rolled her eyes in response to Tavish and said nothing else.
Vicky summoned her trench knife in a small flash of light she had done before, then tossed it in the air and slipped her right hand into the handle. She started looking around the area to get an idea of the field.

"Oh, awesome. That'll save us some walking."
Soon, the group would see a car drive past, which Goku would realise contained the person whose Ki he was sensing. The car shot past them quickly, most likely too fast for anyone to identify the driver.
EMily nodded in response to Goku.
She moved a few meters away, and began prepping herself by gathering some ample energy. A faint blue glow surrounded her skin as well as her eyes.
"In position."
Just as the car went by, EMily said.
"Was that it?"
