When the car shot past, Goku stood and looked at it. He seemed to relax and scratch the back of his head. "Hmmm. Not what I expected. Usually, when I sense a Ki come towards me, it's coming to attack. But that car contained the person I was sensing." He said rather mundanely while pointing at the vehicle.
He looked around up at the sky. "Well, I haven't tried this yet. Might as well give it a shot." He placed his hands around his mouth, and yelled, "Come to me, Flying Nimbus!"
After a brief pause a small yellow streak would appear in the sky, but quickly curve and come straight for the group. It suddenly came to a stop in front of Goku, revealing itself to be a small yellow cloud. Goku then jumped on it. "I'll take to the sky and track that car. You guys do what you can to follow."
Goku and the yellow cloud then took off into the sky following after the car.

Having not seen much in the way of combustion engine cars, Sophia was one of the few to actually look at the car as it passed. Even with the light however brightening up the car, she wouldn't be able to make anything out properly. "What was that thing just now!?"
"Flying what?" She said as Goku hopped on the cloud. "Um... did Mr. Goku just fly off on a cloud just now?"
"Flying what?" She said as Goku hopped on the cloud. "Um... did Mr. Goku just fly off on a cloud just now?"
Samus dodged out of the way of the car, turning to face the way it went, cannon raised instinctively. She ran after it, her already Olympic-level speed augmented by the thrusters in her boots.
Vicky watched Goku fly off on his cloud with a dumbfounded look.
She replied to Sophia.
She sighed and shut her eyes, breathing in deeply. She manifested a field of psionic energy around her feet. She then started moving after the car, not walking, but instead gliding quickly along the ground as if it were smooth ice, her leg movements now those of a skater instead of walking.

"Wait, he said to follow him, didn't he?"
After finishing your post-flight routine you head out of your ship and head the way you saw the group go earlier, jogging to catch up. After a little while you see a vehicle approaching, quickly. Your instincts tingle and you quickly draw your blaster, taking aim at the approaching headlights. In the dark, you can't see well enough to pick out any propulsion, so instead to turn up the power on your blaster and fire a single shot at the headlights.
Are those two running after my car? And... what the hell are they wearing? They seem like bad news. With a sigh, the driver expertly turned the car around to face EMily and accelerated straight at her.
EMily was already in the mode of moving fast with short bursts of plasma. So she sharply dived out of the way when it came for her. She then fired a piercing laser strong enough to cut through the tires of the car as it went passed her.
Seeing the car turn around and aim for EMily, Goku bolted down on the Flying Nimbus, intending to intervene if needed. However, when EMily hit the tires, he ended up intervening in a way contrary to what he expected and jumped down behind the car, grabbing the trunk, his fingers bending the metal, and digging the heels of his feet into the ground trying to stop the car before it crashed or hurt someone else.
"What, hey wait up!" Sophia shouted as she finally realized everyone had basically ran after the car now. Sophia then chased after them, although quickly realizing she was being left behind. However seeing what unfolding in front of her with both Goku and EMily she stopped a little dumbfounded. "Woah..."

The car, its engine damaged by Shara's shots, slowed and stopped before it reached EMily. The driver, a man slightly taller than Samus, stepped out of the car and looked down at EMily. "Do you want something?" he asked, his accent noticeably Canadian.
"Yes, we want you to stay right where you are. You just might be someone of our interest." Her hands hummed with the sound of the air being stripped apart by a strong electric field from her hands. The charge built up would be enough to incapacitate one if it leaped over to another body in a short amount of time.

You quickly holster your blaster and wonder to yourself if this is the person you are looking for. You also wonder how to compensate him if it turns out he isn't. While you easily have enough credits to repay him for the damages, you don't think they will help.
"And I should do what you lot say because, what? If I don't, you'll attack me?" the man asked, staying still. Victoria would see that the man looked just like the person on Darren's bounty poster.
