Robot Dave just gave up and went back to the ship to calculate some beautiful digits of pi.
Dace started pounding on the broken door that he needs to be let in.

[color=003399]"Come out here and fight us or I'll fucking level this city and hope I get you in the blast!"[/color] Joel yelled, while removing his shirt and jacket. [color=003399]"For a bunch of fucking soldiers, you cunts seem to really enjoy delaying fights!"[/color]
The Mason sisters may notice the mass and density of the organic parts of Joel's upper body increasing.

I narrow my eyes at the awning. Seems too easy, but I'll take it. As I walk over, I draw my guns and point them at the legs.

Vicky slowly sat up and got back on her feet. She sighed as she drew her other sword and looked around. As she did, her left hand started to glow dark orange.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

The legs didn't react, for they were legs and did not posses any sensory organs.

Joel would suddenly find the prongs of a sai at his throat. "This is more than just a fight, it is how the world functions. Wind blows, rain falls, the strong prey upon the weak. Fighting is inevetable, just nature running its course."

Emily and Gwen would find several small, magnetically charge carbon nanotube objects around the plaza, including the feet and the sai.

[color=003399]"Could it run it's course a bit faster? I fucking hate the rain."[/color] Joel said, his eyes fixed on the sai. The raindrops would barely be able to touch Joel before evaporating into steam.

 

[Demonjazz]

Dace turned around and brought out his rifle. "Hey Joel! I bet ya that I can shoot that sai without hitting ya!" He starting to take aim at it.

 

[Slenn]

"I'm locating some magnetic dipole moments. The weapons are magnetized as well as his feet."

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"So impatient. Eager to commence the slaughter, are we? And people call us the warmongers." The voice taunted. More body parts came into view, attaching to the feet, eventually forming the entire lower half of a person.

 

[Slenn]

The sisters unlocked their hands and focused on the man ahead of them. Both of their eyes were moderately glowing from their energy.
<color=purple>"Well at least it wasn't us two that started the fight."

"Ooooooh, very nice." EMily said, clapping her hands in amusement as the metal man came together. "Although you're missing your torso, sir."

 

[Drakmorg]

Vicky could only roll her eyes in response to what the voice was saying. Seeing something assemble itself, she ran towards it and swung to cut one of the legs vertically down the middle.

[color=003399]"Yeah yeah, I'm fucking impatient. Can we get to the bit where I melt your face off, please?"[/color] Joel said.

Dace continued to closely aim at the weapon next to Joel. He was mentally taking in all the environmental factors to the shot.

The legs spli again to dodge out of the way to dodge Vicky's slice. They reformed on the top of the awning, more body parts flying from around the plaza to join them, including the sai at Joel's neck. Eventually they constructed a full person, who stood tall on the edge of the awning, pointing one sai at them and using his other hand to reach into the harness at his waist. "I am Monsoon, of the Winds of Destruction. And you are nothing to me."

Vicky followed the chunks of man as they flew out of the way of her attack and reconnected elsewhere. She rolled her eyes once again and held her left hand out with the fingers being horizontal, then moved her fingers and thumb together and apart, so as to make the mocking gesture of a flapping mouth, all the while mouthing 'Blah blah blah'.

I hate to put holes in my cover, but I can't pass up the opportunity to hit this cyborg from below. So I shoot.

[color=003399]"I don't think we really care."[/color] Joel said. Anyone paying attention to him would notice he was now soaking wet, the raindrops no longer evaporating off his body.

 

[Slenn]

"I tend to like rainy weather as well. Too bad it's coming from you."
EMily sent out a moderate EMP at Monsoon.

Gwen created a reverse gravity well worth 3 g's, attempting to pull apart Monsoon.

Dace shot at the body parts of Monsoon's hoping that the since they were separated into small pieces that it would be easier to take them out.

Monsoon jumped, dodging X-9s bullets and creating a magnetic aura around himself to cancel out Emily's EMP and keep himself conjoined. The hand that was in his combat harness pulled out a grenade, lobbing it at the group. It exploded, not harming anyone but making a red phosphorus smoke cloud that would make seeing difficult and infrared useless. He landed in the cloud, disappearing into the mist.
