OOC: @Gear. A technicality with your choice of words, but it would be better to say you 'cancelled' the EMP, rather than repelling it with a magnetic field. A magnetic field on top of an EMP wouldn't do anything unless its field pointed in the opposite direction of the EMP.
EMily shifted through various EM frequencies to see in to see if she could get a good lock on him. From her scans she had a pretty good idea of the absorption spectrum of the red mist, and settled on seeing in the near-ultraviolet. She also kept up her senses of magnetic fields to assist her. She fired a flesh-cutting laser at Monsoon with the available senses.
Gwen's sense of masses would allow her to see through the mist anyway since Monsoon's density was much greater than that of the mist. She did use her gravitational powers to make the ground upheave sections of earth, the size of boulders, in front of Monsoon.

Dace ran out of the cloud without trouble.
Emily's laser did next to nothing, and Gwen's boulder was kicked away, back in her direction.
One of the parked APCs lurched upward suddenly, slamming into the plazas entrance with enough force to make something in the vehicle explode, catching the thing on fire and blocking Joel's escape route.

Roland couldn't see into the smoke, so he instead began firing at the same spot that EMily had.
Roland's shots hit their mark, but didn't damage Monsoon much. The smoke started to clear, allowing X-9 a clear shot and Vicky a clean breath. Monsoon retaliated to Roland's shot by throwing his sai at him, aiming for his heart with the prong. Samus fired the Plasma Beam at Monsoon, the shots hitting his torso and making him glow red hot.

EMily redoubled her attack as an industrial laser to pierce through Monsoon's armor.
Gwen could feel the boulder coming. She had been keeping her eyes closed the whole time ever since before the battle begun, allowing her to raise her senses. With this in hand she flung the boulder back at Monsoon with the same speed without it touching her. She pushed her hands outward as if she was casting a spell.

Joel would eventually find a crack in the wall, wide enough for him to escape through.
The industrial laser had a bit more success, boring into Monsoon, but not doing major damage. Dace's shots made Monsoon stumble enough for the boulder to hit him, sending him across the plaza. However, he quickly stood, separating his leg to make a swiping kick long enough to cover the entire plaza.

Sophia had spent most of the skip in the ship. She tried to help out one of the cooler days when the sky was a bit overcast, but even then the heat still remained a problem for her. She'd help lift things in the evening when the heat finally started to give up, even if she did need to put on some protective boots. It wasn't something she was pleased with, but given the alternative she would have.
When she was locked away on the inside of the ship, she worked on finishing up the Victoria figurine, realizing as she didn't actually have any lacquer to seal the wood or give it better tone variety. She wasn't really sure if it would be available given the exploded city, so she started working on another one for the time being. She also did some reading, although she was a bit more private about that.

When the rain started pouring, Sophia squinted as she tried to look around, the rain making her glasses pretty much pointless. Looking much more like a drenched rat than a ferret with all the water, she quickly stuffed her glasses back in her bag. Listening as she moved her head back and forth, she drew her plasma gun as she heard Monsoon flail across the plaza, seeing the glowing parts of his body apart from the rather dreary rain.
Sophia fired off three shots towards Monsoon, continuing to listen for the different patterns of rainfall around her.
Roland's shots knocked the sai off course, making it retreat back to Monsoon.
X9 and Sophia's shots hit Monsoon, doing some damage. He leapt towards X9, sais glinting, as Samus fired at him to try and slow him down as she moved to Vicky.

Dace's shots hit Monsoon's hands, and EMily's lighting stunned him, though he managed to dodge Gwen's upheavals. He sent a separated leg at Dace, aiming to kick Dace in the chest.
