"Well, maybe we're just different like that." Seras said, seeming like the conversation had run its course.

"Fair enough. After all it's your decision. But keep in mind what I've told you. I hope I was of some help."

EMily went back to Photon.
"I think I have something. I'll play back the message." She had Photon play the transcribed message.

Having gotten absolutely no response from anyone aside from Doom Guy, thus making her believe that her voice had apparently become completely inaudible to everyone else in the room, Vicky sighed and went back the way she came. She meandered around the space-ship until she found Sophia on her own, it not taking all that much time with how small the craft was.

As Vicky wandered around the ship, looking for Sophia, she would see Joel fiddling with the remains of his left arm.

Vicky stopped for a bit as she noticed Joel and his work.

"What the hell happened to you?"

[color=003399]"My cheap as shit arm exploded. This is all I have left."[/color] Joel replied, looking up at Vicky.

"Ah, damn. That sounds brutal."

Vicky replied.

"I mean, that's never happened to me, but I can imagine it's not fun. What're ya gonna do now?"

[color=003399]"Guess I'm going to have to go back to using only my right hand again."[/color] Joel said.

Vicky shrugged and suggested,

"You could ask around and see if anyone here can help ya fix it."

[color=003399]"It's not just that it's broken, I'm missing half of it."[/color] Joel replied. [color=003399]"I suppose I'll have to do that at some point, but it's really more 'I need a new arm' rather than 'I need this one fixed'."[/color]

"That's rough, buddy."

Vicky said to Joel while patting him on the shoulder.

"I'd help you out, but I don't really know how to make a new one."

[color=003399]"Thanks."[/color] Joel replied, his eyes going to Vicky's hand. [color=003399]"I'm not sure if touching me is safe for you, by the way."[/color]

"Well, thanks for talking with me." Seras said to EMily.

 

[Slenn]

"You're most welcome. You're a good person, Seras." She made a genuine smile back to her. She then turned back to her translation business.

Vicky took her left hand off of Joel and looked at the palm.

"Nyeh, I'm sure it's fine. These babies are practically indestructible."

"Uh...thanks. You are too." Seras said with a small blush.

"Uh, I don't really know what that is, so no."
