Seras brought her shotgun up and shot it at the blade that was swinging on her to try and deflect it.
The force of the shotgun forced the blade back, but the pellets did not pierce the stone armour. Still flying past, Shadow Samus started circling the platform like a vulture. She raised her arms, flapping the wing blades and sending a gust of wind to try and blow Seras off the platform.
When Shadow Samus attacked, Seras would hear the same voice as before, ring out through her mind. This time, however, she didn't feel light-headed; she felt like a part of herself had just woken up.

A playing card, similar to the ones Igor had used in the Velvet Room, appeared before Seras. In a flash of light, it vanished, replaced by a large figure, wearing a black overcoat and a pair of boots with cleaver-like blades on the soles. In the being's hand was a weapon, resembling a sword with a handle like that of a spear.

Seras dropped into a prone position on the ground, then fired once more at the Shadow, aiming for the face.
The shotgun pellets that made contact with the face passed through as if the air was empty, but the shadow still recoiled. When it recovered, it stared at the being standing next to Seras, "So you can... It doesn't matter. I still have to do this!" It landed in front of Seras, both bladed wings slashing wildly.
Seras was quite shocked when the thing appeared in front of her. She tried to roll to the side to avoid it and the Shadow.
When Seras rolled to the side, Izanagi would float with her, continuing to stare at Shadow Samus. Seras would begin to feel as though the thing floating above her was, in fact, a part of herself. The knowledge of how to command it came to Seras, from somewhere deep in her mind.

Seras managed to avoid the Shadow, which stepped back. It made a slashing motion with one of its wings, sending a thin blade made of air towards Seras.
The blade of wind slashed through Serras, but any damage it did was blocked by the purple energy. The shadow flew forward, trying to chop Seras in half with a bladed wing.
"Zio!" Seras shouted as she stood, hoping the thing in front of her would attack before the Shadow got too close.
A bolt of lightning came down from the ceiling, towards Shadow Samus.
"Keep attacking!" Teddie yelled from behind a wall.

The lightning bolt hit Shadow Samus, making her fall out of the air, the rough landing giving Seras enough time to get a second shot in if she so wished.
Izanagi's sword bit into the Shadow's armour, but Shadow Samus stood, tearing it out. She screamed, sending a wave of foul, toxic air towards Seras.
Sophia humbly walked into the store when Gwen held the door for her, nodding and saying a 'thank you' before going in. Looking at the various merchandise, Sophia went to look for a sturdy umbrella. Nothing super fancy, but something that wouldn't give up just because a gust of wind went the wrong way and inverted the silly thing.
As she searched, she stumbled across the rain slicker section, having to pause as she realized how many colours there had to be there. 'Well that's wonderful...' She thought to herself, bending over to look at the tags for a moment. 'And it doesn't say on there either...' She thought as she frowned.
