Jumped back to acid the slash, but with the thing standing in front of her would probably get hit.
Shadow Samus slashed through Izanagi, making the Persona shatter like a mirror into blue shards. Seras would feel like something in her head had been gouged out, but the link was quickly repairing. Shadow Samus backed off, then raised one wing blade, creating a ugly, organic parody of Samus' arm cannon. She fired at Seras, balls of black energy that would feel like cannonballs if they connected.
Seras dropped her shotgun as she felt the pain of losing her Persona. Then she was sent flying by the ball of dark energy. She landed roughly and laid still for a few moments.
Seras would feel the link repair, her Persona coming back in a rush, though she would still have to summon it herself.
The Shadow came closer, raising a wing like an executioner's axe. "I am so sorry about this..." It did sound genuinely apologetic, but that mattered little as the blade came crashing down.

With the suggestions of what might possibly be targeting the group debunked, Caius kept quiet for the remainder of the walk, although a creeping suspicion remained in the back of his head, he couldn't think of any other thing that could be targeting the group.
Entering the store along with the rest Caius and Yeul looked around for a moment, before walking further in. Seeing the rack of raincoats, Yeul approached it, only stopping covering herself up with her arms once she took a raincoat from the rack, holding it in front of herself.
Caius, meanwhile, approached the umbrella stand, while keeping an eye on the surroundings around Yeul. Looking the umbrellas over, he looked for an unmbrella that showed the most quality, for the lowest price. He didn't have too much of a hard time judging the former, although didn't couldn't read the price tags, making the latter an impossibility. "You can read this, correct?" He asked Sophia, glancing towards her. "Which of these are the least costly?"

"Hmm? What did you say?" Sophia asked looking up from the various coats and rain slickers to Caius. "Oh right, sure I can." She said, sounding almost a bit bashful. 'So this is what it was like, huh?' She thought to herself as she went to go and look for him.
"So which ones were you thinking of? There's a lot of umbrellas here." She said, looking at the selection, not really wanting to go and read every single one for him if she could help it.

Shadow Samus' strike was parried by Izanagi, and Seras' stab with the HF blade went through the armour like butter, making the Shadow screech in pain. It backed off, only aggravating the wound, leaving a small hole in the abdomen of its armour that showed nothing but inky blackness. It jumped back, hovering in midair, firing with the canon again.
"...This, this, this, and finally, this one." Caius answered, with some initial hesitation, pointing to four umbrellas he deemed to be of the highest quality. The first umrella Caius pointed to cost ten Pounds, the second seven, the third twelve, and the fourth seven Pounds and fifty Pence.
Keeping the raincoat held up to her, Yeul moved away from the rack, and to Caius' side, briefly glancing the various umbrellas over, and feeling a little disappointed at the lack of any interesting patterns on them.

"Well..." Sophia said, looking at the labels of the four. "I think that that squiggly L shape is supposed to be the money symbol here... So..."
"This one's 10 L squiggles, this one's seven L squiggles, this one is twelve L squiggles, and the last one is seven.... and a half squiggles." Sophia answered, looking a little embarrassed. "Does that help at all?"
Yeul would notice that around the corner there was some more colourful umbrellas around the corner, although they might not be as functional as the ones they were currently looking at.

"That one is not of adequate quality, the arms are too frail. It would break at strong winds. All of the ones in that corner would." Caius stated, looking towards Yeul.
"I thought as much." Yeul responded, hanging the umbrella back up on the rack, sounding a little disappointed, but understanding the importance of quality over style. "So then, are we done here?"

She replied looking back to Yeul. "Well, I still need to get my umbrella and raincoat. Would you like to help me find one maybe?" She offered, putting a hand on her hip and another pointing with her thumb behind her.
"...I would like to give onto her the gift, but we have not the funds for even the necessities, let alone luxuries." Caius responded to Sophia, looking away from Sophia. It was barely noticeable, but something in the tone of Caius' voice indicated he wasn't happy with the situation.

Caius said nothing further in response to Sophia's offer, not feeling very confortable with the idea of accepting gifts from people he had only known for a short time. Though at the same time, his silence also told Yeul to decide for herself wherther she wanted to accept the gift or not.
